Faster refunds at amazon

I returned some draperies via UPS to Amazon today...refund was issued within a few hours. Because of this I find I am buying more at Amazon and less from QVC...two week time frame for a refund from QVC is too long...creates unhappy customers.

The only thing I find QVC useful for is the easy pays. Nothing else, that's for sure.

i don't return enough for it to be an issue for me. so my shopping is not limiited to sites that do instant refunds for returns.

i shop only on line. various sites, amazon, qvc, hsn, etc.

packages are delivered almost daily. yesterday i received 9 packages. this is common.

i only returned 2 items in the last yr.

however, for those that return frequently, it would be a pain to keep up with chasing late and delayed refunds. they would be happier to deal with sites that refund prior to receiving the product back, ie amazon.

Love Amazon easy returns and quick credit to your account. I have had a couple of issues but that was from third party sellers. Also, love that I can order something from Amazon in the afternoon and get it the next day with free shipping.

I can’t imagine why anyone would compare Q to Amazon. Not really in the same race.

I order very little for myself from Amazon. About a month ago, Amazon happened to be the cheapest option and I ordered. It ended up that I needed to return it. I thought okay, that's easy enough I'll go to Kohls. I did the online return and Kohls wasn't an option. I had to go to the UPS store. Long story short, I just kept the item. I asked a friend about it and she said the same thing, but she took it one step further and called. She was told she can't change drop off locations. So this easy return process isn't so easy for everyone.

With Amazon, just print out the shipping label at home and drop it at a UPS store or a Staples (Staples is a UPS shipper) and it will be picked up there, easy peasy. One time from Amazon I clicked on the wrong button for return, UPS stopped by the house with a shipping label, I put it on and they took it with them right away at no extra charge. Again EASY PEASY.

Usually I print my own label and because UPS drops off at my job almost daily, they just take my package with them.

Amazon is putting their billion+ dollars of upfront money to good use - for them at least.

Sadly for shopperts like me, they're driving the rest of the retail world away from the experiences I like. For me that doesn't mean I'm buying more from Amazon thpugh - I'm just buying less and less from anyone. Time for someone else to support the retail economy,

I love returning to Amazon. I just take it to the UPS store without the box and check for them to credit my Amazon account. I have the money in my account within hours. I order from Amazon at least twice a week, so that's very convenient for me. I don't return very much, though, to any place.

I haven't ordered from Amazon very much at first. Now I love it. I like it for things that are hard to find and I get it within two days sometimes one day! I have had to return two things and it was so easy taking it to UPS and within two hours I get an email that I have been refunded.
