$40.00 ACCOUNT CREDIT IS A JOKE

In Feb I opened a QVC account and was told I would receive a $40 CREDIT ACCOUNT. I have never received it so I called in August and again today. I was given the runaround until I called Sychrony Bank and I was put on a conference call with QVC. QVC said I wouldn't be getting a $40 credit as I didn't use the card that day. I opened the account over the phone and was told I had to wait until I got the card to use it. Today I was told I had to use the card the day I opened the account. Kinda hard to do when I didn't get the card for five days after opening the account. Needless to say I am ******!!!! Beware what they say as it may not be true.

Customer service is a difficult job, and although I don't work in customer service myself, I have a lot of friends who do and know how hard they try to help customers.

I opened a Q card recently and was very happy to receive the 40.00 credit. I ordered 2 blowout clearance jackets for 19.99 each during the free shipping day and was very happy with what I received.

Glad you liked them! That's a great deal for 2 jackets! I also recently (last month) got a Q card and like you I received the $40 credit without issue. I actually forgot about it and the other day when I was making a purchase I saw it available as a credit, but I chose not to use it then. Now, I just need to pick something out....decisions/decisions

Ok I just applied for the qvc card and was approved , got my number how do I get the 40 dollarcredit? It didnt give me a code or anything. btw I have an order waiting to happen.

@Jet334 - Welcome to the forums! It can take 6-8 weeks (sometimes as long as 10-12) for the credit to show up in your QVC account; the credit card cycle for your first purchase has to be processed and communicated to QVC so they know you completed the requirements to qualify for the credit. It takes a little patience, but it literally will pay off.

I have been a customer for over 20 yrs.. when I signed up I got a $5.00 credit plus a magazine. the Insider every few months .. plus a birthday card with a special offer.. Now after me spending a fortune each year . I dont get the birthday card.. I dont get anything but fed up with shipping .. New customers this weekend get $40.00 and a Mrs Prindable apple.. I think they should do something for their oldest customers.. really . its too much.
