QVC Mods -- can you please confirm if Jose Parron, the Affinity diamond rep, is indeed gone from QVC starting 2019? If so, has a replacement been named yet?

Yep-gone. His instagram has a post with a QVC behind the scenes emp;oyee and two of the comments at the bottom of his post say they will miss him. Q just keeps making changes. Or, perhaps it was his decision to move on for bigger opportunities. Wish him goodness.

I also definitely miss wonderful Peyton. As I saw more & more of Jose, I liked him very much as well. Wonder who the new diamond rep will be this year?

Not sure a rep is needed...Affinity is a QVC brand. Have the jewelry buyer come on air if another person other than the host is needed to explain diamonds set in silver or gold. Too many people in a company brings up prices to customers.

@Gabidog I hear you, but you could say that for a lot of brands owned by QVC. It's apparently not their marketing strategy to have the host go it alone. Diamonique, Denim & Co., Cooks Essentials, G.I.L.I., Northern NIghts, Kringle Express, and the list goes on & on.

Yes, it is a QVC decision to have another person with a host on many items and I do like having a back and forth between the two. But many times the host is there to just ask how many were sold, what colors remain, etc. With an average of six items per hour the host should be able to tell us everything we need to know about an item...it is their job. I often wonder why you need both Carolyn and Gary standing in front of a rack to jogger pants...just tell us the fabric content, colors available, and show the models.
