I don't know how to post a picture here and ...................

I can't understand the instructions listed under the "Welcome..." forum.

If someone could be so kind as to explain how to post a pic I would appreciate it. Sometimes it takes a different choice of words to make things clearer.

The link in my signature at the bottom of my post will take you to a post with instructions on how to post pictures for avatars or add a picture to a post. (Adding a picture to a post is the last link.)

Here is the short version:

Start a post here

Open another window or tab and

Google search for anything (i.e. Cute baby animals)

Click on the picture you want

next, right click on the image

choose "copy"

come back here to the post you started

left click in the box

right click

choose "paste"

Thanks, but I tried that many times and it just doesn't work. At first I thought it has something to do with the forum technical-related something or other. Something's not right. When I send email pics the right-click and copy/paste always works. It's just here that it does'nt.

It's about where the original picture are located? Are they your own or from Pinterest or maybe another location?

Save image to your desktop by right clicking on image

and save to a file on your computer

Now, since the picture is in a file on your computer,

after you start a post

click on the little picture in the tool bar

This is the toolbar. The picture icon (between the link icon and the centering lines)

When you left click, a menu opens up.

It says

Ms iMac is showing the window/menu when open that allows you to choose

"Add image "
