I just had a very strange experience with customer service. I had ordered the Smithfield ham this morning when I saw it on the QVC web site. Tonight I saw the presentation and decided to make my order auto delivery instead of one time shipment. I couldn't get to my computer at the time so I called CS.

I explained my request to the CS operator. She was very nice and said she would try to change it. Then she starts singing Christmas carols in my ear. (I swear this is true!). Then she says now how do I do this - there must be a way and starts singing again. So I said if you can't figure it out just cancel my order and re-order with auto delivery. She's says - oh no I can't do that and starts singing again!

It's nice to speak to a happy person, but I was not getting the help I needed. Finally I said to her never mind - just keep it the way it is. She said okay and we hung up. When I had time I went to my computer -cancelled the first order and re-ordered for auto delivery. It took about two minutes!

As I said the cs rep was very nice, but the whole experience was very strange!

That is strange. The singing is bad enough but then to not know how to help you makes it worse! I was out shopping today and ran into a woman wandering around the store singing also. In my case I thought it was nice that she was in such a good mood but the situation was different than yours.
