      <title>Sneaky Express/Expedited shipping practices?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I ordered a product for a birthday on the morning of the 24th, and paid for express shipping hoping QVC prioritizes express shipping orders like most online retailers. My EDD was today. The item wasn't even shipped until late yesterday afternoon.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I was looking for a bit of reassurance of when it'd come. So, I emailed QVC two days ago to find out if it was still due to arrive on the EDD because it had less than 2 days left whilst still in processing. I was told a very vague, remotely condescending, and short response saying an item can ship anytime before the EDD followed by, "currently there is no delay".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Immediately following that 9pm email I recieved, that very same night at 10pm the item was conveniently "shipped". But in actuality the label was just printed, and it didn't get into UPS' hands until 4pm the following day (yesterday). Despite knowing this would happen and my inquiry mentioning it was a birthday gift too; It was carelessly and knowingly shipped 2 Day Air instead of overnight less than 24 hours before the EDD. So the CS Rep had all intent to make it appear as if it's the courier's fault for the delay rather than tell the warehouse to ship overnight to accomodate the tardiness. Or, just simply inform me of the very real delay and apologize.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Maybe they're incapable of having the power to change shipping rates, either way... don't tell me "there is no delay" and have a label prematurely made extremely late in the day.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would've been okay with the delay if I was just told the honest truth, and it didn't come off as trying to make it seem like it's UPS' fault/avoiding my cancelation.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I get that the EDD is "estimated" but as this is my very first QVC order ever, it just left a bad taste in my mouth in how it was responded and dealt with personally.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Am I in the wrong if I request to have my express shipping refunded? Or have I just become spoiled from the likes of Amazon and other well known retailers' shipping practices? Because honestly, I feel like the 'In processing' status here, is entirely stretched and is some sort of limbo status just to not upset customers nor inform them of how slow items ship. Let's just have the consumer worry with such a vague and long status instead.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/254240"&gt;@Siku&lt;/a&gt;Not really sneaky, but certainly not good.&amp;nbsp; Do ask for your expedited extra cost -&amp;nbsp; QVC should return that.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As for blaming CS -&amp;nbsp; I don't think they are told much of anything about shipping which is frustrating for you and probably for them!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#993300"&gt;I think you are entitled to a refund of the shipping cost of the difference between what you paid for and what you actually got. &amp;nbsp;You did get expedited shipping with the 2 day air, just not overnight as you requested.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#993300"&gt;QVC makes available expedited shipping, not necessarily expedited processing on their end. &amp;nbsp;I found this out a few times that I paid extra for it years ago.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT color="#993300"&gt;I no longer buy &lt;I&gt;anything&lt;/I&gt; from &lt;I&gt;anyone&lt;/I&gt; that I need in a &amp;nbsp;short period of time.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I received an order of food yesterday,&amp;nbsp;that I cancelled (everyday)&amp;nbsp;for 2 weeks&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;img id="smileysad" class="emoticon emoticon-smileysad" src="https://community.qvc.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.png" alt="Smiley Sad" title="Smiley Sad" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But thats a whole other story..........&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My observations about shipping pracices and QVC......&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Lately I have begun to notice and think that QVC must pay very low prices to shippers because many of my orders from other places I order from&amp;nbsp;get shipped by mail and arrive in a timely mannor (1 or 2 days normal shipping)&amp;nbsp;but when I get an order from QVC, it sits in my PO or in another place (mail innovations) &amp;nbsp;along the way for days before it moves on&amp;nbsp; and finally &amp;nbsp;gets delivered to me.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;So I have come to&amp;nbsp; think&amp;nbsp; QVC pays the cheapest price possible for their own&amp;nbsp;shipping!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;(This is just my opinion)&lt;/P&gt;</description>
