Notification Feed Not Working

I use an iPad, and the notification feed has not been functioning today. Is anyone else having this problem, and if so, can the techies fix this?

Working fine all day for my iPad Pro 9.75. Seeing notifications timely.

Restart your iPad and then come back to the page. Probably will un-glitch.

I’ve learned to stop asking “why” as long as I can find a fix, and a restart is often a problem solver!

me neither and restarting didn't fix it.

So it's not on our end, its QVC's website (again!)

I think it is truly amazing how many glitches their site has especially since they are such a huge retailer/shopping channel.

Shouldn't be happening.

But maybe the same person who hires the hosts also hires the tech/web crew.

I see from reading threads I had hearts and notifications to my nic but nothing in the notification listings.

Restart and deleting cookies didn't help. I'm on my iPad.

I think its the web site again. AGAIN!

@esmeesmerelda: Thanks. Same here-- l have hearts on my posts, but still no new notifications in the number box or on my list either.

@handygal2 and all: I'm not receiving notifications, either, and I see messages where I've been mentioned. I'm on a PC desktop using Chrome.

@handygal2 .. I use an Apple MacBook Pro. I am not getting any notifications either.

Same problem here. I'm on a laptop using Chrome. I signed out, deleted my browser history, restarted the computer and signed back in. I figured that would solve the problem. Nope.

It seems to me there's still a problem. I've been off the forums for a few days, and I do see I had hearts and "@mentions" on my comments but they aren't on my Notification Feed. I suppose the fix didn't work retroactively to try and recover notifications lost while there was a software glitch. Today, however I've noticed:

1 -- Now and then (not always) submitting a response or an edit to a post "freezes" on the screen and seems not to post, but when I go back to the thread the reply or edit is there.

2 -- Clicking/tapping on the heart on a post sometimes works, other times doesn't work.

3 -- Uploading an image sometimes works, other times the process seems to "freeze" yet when I check my profile the image has successfully been added.

4 -- I see new hearts on messages today, but they're not in today's Notification Feed.

(I use an iMac -- with browsers Safari, Chrome, or Firefox, iPad 3 and iPhone 5, all software is up-to-date. I clear cookies/cache/website data at least once a day. These notification and heart glitches usually are related to website software and not to our devices.)

I agree! While it was fixed, the notifications are not working now. And it takes a long time to give hearts and post a message. I'm on a desktop PC. I hope this is fixed soon! Thanks!

Hi, @EdithEllenLily! There definitely are numerous problems here. Not that it's something new to this website, though. (sigh) When the notifications stop working, that means the QVC Social Team won't see theirs, either. I hope they see this thread and pass along the problems to the IT support staff... and if things work as they normally do, we might see improvement eventually.

Yup, mine's not working...again. Posting takes a long time to go through after you hit the post button, too. Then it acts like it didn't go through.

eta - that sounded a little poetic...lol!
