Has Tracfone dumped QVC?

I have read on other sites that Tracfone has dumped QVC due to a dispute-is this so? I would like to know as we want to upgrade our phones and if QVC no longer carries then we will go to the "Southern Channel"

If you are looking to upgrade your Trac-fone, SOUTHERN channel's Today Special is a Trac fone on Sunday.

I just got an email about this today. It's the LG Sunset with 1350 bonus minutes ($89.95 - great price - and free shipping).

I love my LG Ultimate II (that I got from QVC) so I'm not sure I'm ready to switch but I'll certainly have a look at this one tomorrow. It's got a newer OS (Lollipop) and it's 4G.

I'd be surprised if QVC stopped selling Tracfones. I hadn't heard about any problems.

ETA: Wow, I wonder if they have dropped Tracfone? (Or the other way around?) I just had a look and there isn't a single Tracfone available. They used to have several. Guess I really will be checking out that HSN TS!

I think both channels have always carried Tracfone. So does Evine.

ETA: I've read recently that the bundles with the year and 1500 minutes will be coming to an end from Tracfone.

I just ordered the HSN TS as my year of service expires next month. Perfect timing. I've always ordered all my Tracfones from HSN.

I think if there were any "dumping" it would be QVC that dumped Trac...lol Funny that people still don't realize how HUGE Qvc is. However, I use Trac and I lve it but I'm waiting for Qvc, I'm in no hurry. I like the idea of 4G biut I'm not sure if I'll change. I gotta say those triple minutes are amazing.

Where is the keypad on this smartphone...I am use to having a keyboard on the front of the phone....

I have this phone in my shopping cart....I like the camera...and the other features..just afraid i might not be able to figure out how to use it...

I have a tracphone now...but its not reliable of late don't know why...

Me, too........and sometimes getting a new phone "with the goodies" is cheaper than buying minutes! I only use mine in emergency anyway......since I have super-cheap home phone service attached to my cable account.

By the way - no activation window on this phone from Southern channel - which means you don't have to activate it when you get it! That's unheard of - usually you have 30 days or so to activate.

I believe I heard them say you have 60 days in which to activate when listening at midnight...

Yes, they did. I had recorded a couple of the presentations and just now watched them.

I can't imagine any cell phone that you didn't need to activate before use.

Just watched and recorded TSV TRACFONE presentation and there is no activation date restriction. Only if ordered today as TSV.

I've watched each presentation since the first two I'd recorded and everyone since has stressed that there is no time limit on when you have to activate the phone so @hoosieroriginal was right.

I wonder if the first host (sorry, not that familiar with them by name) didn't realize and just said what it's been in the past?

They also said you can get this phone and use it (surf the Internet, send emails, etc.) without activating it, since it has Wi-Fi to see how you like it. Then, "if you love it", you can activate the phone and transfer your number and everything from your current phone. Not really sure how that will work.

I'm skeptical of the 4G claims; the phone may have it, but I'm wondering if where I live will actually receive it (even though it says it will). I think I'm going to order them and find out for myself. (DH wants one, too, only because I'm getting one!) They keep showing the Tracfone CDMA map for coverage, but this phone is GSM (because of the 4G AT&T).

I'd rather wait for QVC to offer one as a TSV, but since they don't seem to be able to tell us what's really going on, I guess HSN gets my money.

Thank you Goody1219 and Venezia.....I just got off the phone with my sil...and she said the same thing about no time frame to activate the phone and that you can use it without activating it...

I am wondering if the midnight Host didn't have all the information...and that is why I was ill informed...

I am glad you both cleared this up for me....
