Books with mind-blowing endings!

Two books come immediately to mind when I think about books which had mind-blowing twists at the very end. I can still remember where I was when the 'bombs' dropped on me while I listened to the endings years ago!

The Last Time They Met by Anita Shreve

Defending Jacob by William Landay

@rustee nice topic! I am hardly ever surprised at endings. But the book that had surprise twists and turns all the way through (for me ) was The Kind Worth Killing. Loved that book.

I just read 2 Kindle books by the same author, Emmy C. Haines, that had endings that surprised me: RADIO SHRINK and UNDER THE BREAK-UP BRIDGE.

Scavenger by Tom Savage

Twisted(sorry can't remember the author)very good book with a crazy ending!

"The Elegance of the Hedgehog" by Muriel Barbery. Another one of my favorite books. The ending is definitely mind-blowing.

The Life of Pi by Yann Martel. Unfortunately, it's one of those books where the beginning the fantastic, the end really makes you question everything, but the middle just drags on and on forever.

I recently read "What Hurts the Most" by Willow Rose. It's the first book in a trilogy. Read them in order.

@Yahooey, I had "Defending Jacob" spoiled for me reading an Amazon review that wasn't marked with spoilers. So disappointed!

I learned of Defending Jacob from the monthly thread and was hoping he wrote another book since then - but nada

I don't remember a lot of the books I read, but I remember that was a good one.

Well, for me, any of Agatha Christie's books. The woman was brilliant. And Then There Were None comes to mind.
