We know who Bill O'Reilly is and can guess who he is demonizing in this book. Jesus said first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.

I have always liked Bill O'Oreilly he is the reason I started watching Fox News way back when. My dad watched him and I joined him one night and that was it , watched his show every night since till he was made to leave . I was very sad to see him go. I have a right to my opinion and I do not beileve all the lies that were told about him . I'm sticking with it no matter what so .......

have every one of his books all great ! A lot of authors have a co writer also.

Bill O'Reilly is a revolting, ignorant, evil person.....why was a post started about him when it is inherently political? I trust somebody will say something soon that gets this poofed.....and it should be.

@Goldengate8361 it was started about his new book , not political unless someone decides to make it about politics. I personally do not find him revolting, ignorant or evil . That's my personal opinon , we all have a right to our own.

@Tinkrbl44 Yes I do know about the payment , I choose to believe that he paid bit to just be done with it . Yes it's a lot of money , more then I'll ever see , but for someone who has that kind of money it isn't . It would have been a long stretched out court case and some choose to avoid it's just easier. I mean that's just one senerio, not saying it's exactly what it is, I just don't feel Bill O'Reilly is a sex offender , doesn't fit who I feel he is. No head in the sand. It's my opinon is all .

You have an idea of who you'd like to believe who he is, but no one pays out THIRTY TWO MILLION DOLLARS if they have done nothing wrong.

There were SEVERAL accusers going back to 2004, and he paid for their silence.

Bill O'Reilly not only paid out to settle these lawsuits, but HE WAS FIRED. Use the common sense you were born with, please.

Of course, he is a sex offender.

I bought the Jesus book and kept it. Lincoln, don't have much interest in. I bought and kept the one they done, too , on the SS Nazi war crimes.

I read the Witch book (got at lib.) but, he went off on other subjects and didn't stick to why people were victimized and mostly women were punished for not going to bed with men, so, men would accuse them of being witches !!

We, women have always been long suffering.

Remember during WWII people accused others of being Jewish and turning them into the SS.

When I hear of recent events I think to myself they

crucified Jesus what chance does any of the rest of us have ? I believe if Jesus came back today they would try

to it again. This time would be different though.

Bill O'Reilly is now a regular guest on another news network that is attempting to truly be fair and bring people from diverse points of view together to discuss the issues. Bill is brash, is a bit of a bully and likes to dominate the conversation, so it takes a while for the host to quiet him down. There are some people who think if they are the loudest voice in the room, they'll make a greater impression. That's Bill.

With that said, he was on that show the other night and he made excellent points about evil dictators and how they gain power. I felt he hit the nail on the head, especially when he talked about why people support dictators. He is no historian, but he does like history and makes an attempt to do adequate research. I've read his previous books and since I am a history teacher, I see glaring omissions and mistakes, but he still makes decent points.

That's the disgusting part....his "glaring omissions and mistakes."

His editors should have corrected those before the books were published since not everyone who reads them are history teachers.

You might enjoy his book, Killing Jesus, this was a great read. Totally about the facts of Jesus' time and life as we actually know it. I found it an easy read and stuff I surely did not know.

That's strange. Every publisher has a Legal Dept. that reviews final drafts of books, looking carefully for anything that could get someone sued.

Changes are made, and then Legal signs off on the draft, allowing it to go to print.

Now I wonder if they think Bill and his over-inflated ego are just too difficult to work with, and they don't plan to renew his contract.
