topic An author's name? in Book Club

An author's name?

I've been trying to remember this author's name. First name Billy but she's a gal. I LOVED her books and thought my luck lately reading is really bad so why don't I re-read some of her books. Is there anyone here who remembers her. She's not with us anymore but her books are and I'd like to get her name. If I look at my library list it would take too long.All I've got is her first name, Billy.

She wrote Where the Heart Is and Shoot the Moon among others...
