MARCH 2024 READ ANY GOOD BOOKS LATELY?

I am currently reading Visions in Death by J.D. Robb. The book is part of the "In death Series"

Waving hello back. I love my Lucas Davenport. I am a few books from the end of the series, but I am dragging my feet. I do not wish to be caught up.

I see that John Sanford has another book that will be released this year called Toxic Prey.

I just tonight finished ONE WRONG WORD by Hank Phillippi Ryan. Very good book. She is one of my favorite authors.

I have my name on the reserve list for John Sandford's Toxic Prey.

I love the In Death series by J. D Robb. I thought I read them all and just finished Random In Death. I thought this series went in alphabetic order and I don't remember a Vision in Death. Hope I didn't miss one.

Just finished reading my third in a row of books by Linda Castillo....she uses the Amish culture background in the character of Kate Burkholder, the Chief of Police in a small Ohio rural community that has a strong Amish presence.

I was hooked after the first book....no guess as to the murderer !!!

Since I love languages, I enjoyed her immediate translations. Simple, everyday expressions....

I started off with one Kate Burkholder book and was hooked. These are so fun to read and I absolutely hate it when the book is over. Linda Castillo books are so iteresting and easy to read; hard to put down.

They are not in alphabetical order. The book that I am currently reading is number 19 (Visions in Death) out of 58 books. She has another one coming out this year as well called Passions in death.

Check out the website Fantastic fiction. Enter her name, and they will list all of her books in this series, and year of release.

Linda Castillo is another author whom, I thoroughly enjoy reading her books. Especially the Kate Burkholder series.

I just finished THE PUSH which I thought was really good. I've just started THE WOMEN by Kristin Hannah. I usually love her books so expect to like this one too. One I recently finished that was very popular but that I did not like was LESSONS IN CHEMISTRY. I know I'm in the minorty regarding that one.

I'm with you @itsmetoo on Lessons in Chemistry. And, we are indeed in the minority. The premise sounded good but the book just fell apart for me. Heard they made a miniseries out of it. No Thanks. Happy Reading!

I need advice ... I read the whole John Sanford series several years ago, but have no idea where I left off or who all the characters are.

Should I go back and read the first book all over again and then see how much comes back?

I enjoyed all that I've read, so I'd like to catch up.

Any suggestions?

personally I would read the first one, then a Virgil Flowers one, then one of the more recent Prey novels. That way you'll catch up on who Lucas Davenport was and is now, how his life has changed. You will also be in tune with Virgil Flowers who is a close friend of Lucas and frequently collaborates on cases. Both of those characters had significant life altering events and changes over the years. Judgement Prey features both of them equally.
