Hi, QVC book lovers! Today we would like to share the news that we will be closing this Facebook Group on Friday, February 25th, and will also be discontinuing the book club. We sincerely thank you for joining us these past several months as we read Dear Santa and The Attic on Queen Street together. We’re so grateful to have had such wonderful members who filled this group with fantastic book recommendations, honest reviews, and positivity.😊 And, P.S.! You can still continue to find your favorite authors and discover new book releases + more at QVC so please keep an eye on our growing book selection, here: https://qvc.co/booksattheQ

Did they gave a reason why? I know they tried to shut it down before but decided to keep it. I'm so disappointed..

@SWEET Not that I know of, they just sent that announcement. They only had two books since October, 2021. Maybe what they were shooting for just didn't pan out. I was disappointed, too. Hopefully we'll get some more avid readers here!

I am an avid reader and had no interest in joining. How do you discuss a book on Facebook would be my first question, secondly I am a pretty selfish reader and I want to read what I wish to read not what someone else decides I should read and be interested in.

I was talking to my SIL the other night and she recently joined a book club through her job, so far she has hated both books that they have have had to read.

@icezeus Maybe you don't know how a true Book Club works. It takes a village of participants and recommendations from all. I love hearing about new books and the synopsis reviews. I understand that this can't be accomplished here, but it's fascinating...at least to me.

I actually belonged to a book club years ago between 2006-2008, so I do understand how they work and no, I still do not like them.

I am glad to hear that you enjoy them.
