Books similar to Grace Chapel Inn

I have just completed the series Grace Chapel Inn and really enjoyed the books. They are so comforting during tough times. Does anyone know of books that would be similar?

Go to shopguideposts.org and click FICTION SERIES and you will find lots of cozy mysteries and other series....

This is an older series, The Mitford books by Jan Karon.

I love this series, and have read them at least twice each.

Thomas Kincaid co wrote a series set in New England that you would enjoy. It is pretty old though. A pastor, small town, recurring characters. The first one is called, Cape Light, the name of the town.

I agree...gentle reading is soothing to the soul right now. Will look up the Grace Chapel Inn series.

I enjoyed the Mitford series, also James Harriott, the vet, and Patrick Taylor as an Irish Doctor. Great series.

Definitely try Debbie Macomber's series about Rose Harbor Inn. A few main characters who run the inn are in every book. However, each book features a whole new cast of characters who stay there, and bring their assorted issues. I'd consider this a very gentle series that sends a positive message.
