I had the pleasure of meeting her about 10 or 12 years ago when she did a book signing at the Barnes and Noble I was working at. A really sweet and classy lady.

She seemed to have a long, happy life and a lovely family.

I was so sorry to see this sad news last night. She has certainly had a long life and a wonderful career. She will be greatly missed.

I truly appreciate your taking the time to explain. I recognized the pouring on the final resting spot from a very old movie I had seen. Symbolism was central to all the languages' literature that I studied in college.

It would have taken quite a few steps to have gotten to the exact word " libation ".

Loved her books. I remember my mom and I both reading and loving- Loves Music , Loves to Dance.....She will live on through all of her wonderful books! RIP!

I saw today that there will be another Mary Higgins Clark/Alafair Burke book coming out in November. This is an entry in the Under Suspicion series that they wrote together. The book is called Piece of My Heart. Glad to have anoher book of Mary's to enjoy.

Her book "Kitchen Privleges" is great. It is a non-fiction about her early childhood.

@Tribesters I've read every single one of her books. I was sad to finish her latest one because I knew it was the last of her books forever. I've tried to read her daughter's books but find that I just can't get into them like I could MHC's books.
