This is strange. The 7 1/2 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle is not available in a kindle version.

@smoky22, I was really curious about this, because The 7 Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle was released in February and has the same synopsis. I couldn't find much about 7 1/2 and it kept leading me back to the first. I wasn't sure if it was a companion or a short, or what. I finally found the author's Twitter page (@stu_turton) and his short bio reads: "Author of The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle (UK) / The 7 1/2 Deaths... (US). Same book, different name. Don't fret." So, now we know!

I don't know why there's a difference in titles. I read a non-fiction book about politics years ago that I loved and recommended to people often, but when it came out in paperback, the publisher gave it a new and more inflammatory title. It caused a lot of confusion and made it harder for me to recommend the book because of the new name. Granted, the original title was truly boring and wonky, but I wish they hadn't renamed it.

@Alison Wonderland that is too funny. I checked Amazon again and there are 3 listings for this book. Now there is a kindle version for 7 1/2 (for $14.99) and a hardcover only version for 7 and another listing that says 7 is out of print. My library has no versions so I probably won't be reading it unless that changes.
