@shortbreadlover- I read a sample of this book and I enjoyed it so much I had to take a hardcover book out of the library to read it, since my e-library didn't have it.

I'm looking forward to reading more, but I'll probably have to start from the beginning because I've more or less forgotten the beginning.

Thanks for mentioning this one. I looked it up and it sounds interesting enough I may go ahead and buy a copy -- there are only six available in the whole of our state library system, and all are checked out.

BTW, the author is AMY MEYERSON -- it's her first book.
