Um, I shared a book with my sister who does NOT have access to my Amazon account. You need to be sure the "Share" option is available and need the recipient's email address.

I'm just confirming the first response to this post. The other party does NOT have to have access to your Amazon account unless that has changed extremely recently!

Go to manage your content and devices on your Kindle. Then select loan this title. (if that option is not available it means that book is not one you can share) Then type in the recipients email address and optional message and hit send.

They would have to have access to your Amazon account - like a family member. If they do - they would take their kindle off their own personal account, sign into your account, add their device.. Then when they are done, do the reverse.

Loaning and transfering are not the same thing. You can’t transfer a book into another account. As others have said you can loan a book to another account if it’s loanable. It will say if it is in your contents and devices. Maybe on your kindle as well. This means one time only for 14 days. A lot of books are not loanable, especially big name authors.

You can put any amount of people on your account if you trust them.
