Elizabeth Berg is one of my very very favorite authors, and I was sorry to read that she's writing one more book with one of the same characters as was in Arthur Truluv, and that will be it. I am a Facebook friend of hers, and she said there will be no more books after the next one, called Night of Miracles, coming out around November. She may write a play or another genre, but no more books. I guess I'm going to have to read all her books over again, one more time. I've loved them dearly.

@sunala, it was around page 60 that she said where they were located. IMO she's not a great writer (like Backman or even Alice Hoffman) but she's got heart, she's great things to say and she says them simply.

I'm sorry for you she won't be writing more. I never heard of her until this forum, I'm loving the book so please tell me your favorite(s), I would like to get one or two more of her books. Thank!

I used to read all of his books, but haven't read anything of his in a long time....I love Dean Koontz too, haven't read any of his in a long time either......You should go onto the website Goodreads.......It is a wealth of information about books, and you can also sign up to win free books. I have won at least 7 or 8 books since I joined. I love that website......I know a lot of readers on here, belong to Goodreads as well. I will go look at my list of books that I have read lately and post back some that I think you would enjoy!

I read Love Letters From Lady Bug Farm by Donna Ball. This was the third in a series. I enjoyed the first two more but will read the rest of the series as there are only a couple of books left and I do want to find out what happens to the characters.

I also read Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll. The main character was not very likable and the subject matter is serious. At first I thought I didn't like it at all, but as time went on it did make me think, which is one of the reasons that we read. I also read that part of the book was based on the author's own experience when she was fifteen and in high school. So perhaps she wrote this book to work through some of her own demons. Anyway after this one, I think I need what I believe @judaline calls a literary palate cleanser. If I have the source of the phrase wrong please correct me.

I may have got these recommendations from last month's thread, but I just finished Woman in the Window and The Wife in Between. Both these books have twists and turns. I highly recommend.
