Walking Dead Season Finale (possible spoilers)

Well it's finally here. The season finale we've all been talking about, wondering about, speculating about! In four hours I'll be glued to my tv, taking it all in. I can't imagine what they have in store for us.

That's exactly what my friends and I have been saying all day! I've never been nervous about a tv show, but this has me so nervous and upset!! I'll be here, though!

I have no idea what happened last week, because I wanted to watch both episodes back to back. I somehow managed to avoid all spoilers as well so I am truly going into this blind. I will be watching last weeks episode at 5 PST, and then head into the Season Finale at 6:00. I am excited.

@icezeus--I was thinking about you today and watched the 2 together, even tho I watched last week. What time zone are you in?

What time zone is everyone in, it is hard to tell because I guess EST is what this site runs on. I know when I read something and everyone talking about whatever show on now, I check and it isn't on my TV. Right now I am on PST, but come Time change I think is MST. Live in AZ

This episode was a breath taker for sure. Any guesses on the WHO?????????-------ted

Hi @tedEbear. Yes, this site is on EST. I'm in Philadelphia and also on EST.

I see the show before most of the other women who come here to discuss it, so I usually save my comments for Monday morning or later. I don't know which state icezeus is from, but I'm pretty sure that she is on PST.

Now, with regards to last night's episode............

I was on the edge of my seat throughout; I felt so nervous for the group. A few times I thought "I can't take this!" LOL

As far as "who?", I have no idea, but I'm highly disappointed that we have to wait six months or so to find out.

Wow, that cliffhanger was unbelievable! My heart lept in my throat and I got tears in my eyes because my first inclination is that it is Carl. After reading blogs and hearing what the producers had to say on Talking Dead, as well as remembering back that Andrew Lincoln said after reading the script that he couldn't sleep and that it made him physically sick, I can't think of who else it could be, although most of the people in the blogs don't agree with me.

I was thrilled to see Morgan step up to the plate and shoot the Savior who had it in for Carol. He confirmed what Carol told him that you can't get away from the fact that you will eventually have to kill someone to save someone you care about. The guys on the horses who came to save the day are probably a part of The Kingdom, another community in the comic book series. Yay for hot guys in armor on horses!

The only part of the episode I didn't 'get' was the fact that every one of those people insisted on going in the RV to Hilltop - why??? Talk about leaving Alexandria with a skeleton crew of protectors.... Of course, that wouldn't have made for as good a storyline with Negan.

It's going to be a tough haul these upcoming months to have to wait and see what happens!!! These cliffhangers are for the birds!!!

I only watched the show once - in real time - so I could be wrong about this, but as Negan was getting ready to hit the person with his bat he said something to the effect that they (Rick's crew) could cry and they could scream but that they better not get up and interfere and that if they do, someone from his crew should cut out Carl's other eye and feed it to his Dad. That, to me, implies that neither Rick nor Carl were the victim.

I know that in the comic book, it's Glenn. But I remember someone from the show saying that it WAS NOT going to be the same character as in the comics.

I was not pleased with last nights episode at all. In fact, I was so annoyed that I actually went on to the TWD Facebook page and the TD Facebook page to express my displeasure. I will come back around my lunch time to discuss in the "Spoiler" tag what annoyed and upset me so much.

I decided to just add on to my existing comments from this morning. I will not be writing anything that can spoil the show if someone has not viewed. I just believe that the show was better than that. I truly felt that this was a silly gimmick to drive up ratings for the October season premiere. It was completely unnecessary. TWD already has a built in fan base that from my understanding grows every season.

I am feeling very meh, about the show now. I can't say that I will stop viewing, but no more excitement from me waiting for Sunday evening to view. I will just record and catch up with it when I catch up.

If that was the case that it is not the same as the comics then Carl & Rick are not safe. But too much of the future storyline hinges on Rick, Carl and Maggie & Michone so I still think it is either Abraham or Darryl or Rosita.

The reasons being that the Cat is out of the bag about Glenn. Darryl is not in the comics so still expendable, Abraham and Rosita do get killed off in the story. No matter how you put it a beloved "family" member is leaving the crew. Very sad episode.

I am upset that we have to wait until October to discover who was killed, very annoying. Someone on the panel last ight said that it was someone who was beloved by everyone, so I think that narrows it down to Daryl, Rick, and maybe Carl since they all pratically raised him, but I doubt it would be Rick, and Michone, maybe, but I think when the person was killed, Negan had already passed her by and was nearing the end of the circle near Rick. I also thought it was strange that practically everyone left the compound.

The only reason I would rethink it being Carl is this - remember there were several sort of fuzzy shots throughout the episode of what looked like slits of light, and then we realize at the end it was from the van or truck that Glenn, Daryl, and the girls were released from? Sooooo, if that could be one of the clues that the producers said were in the episode as to who's last day on earth it was going to be, it could be Glenn or Daryl. Note that in the comics Negan doesn't kill women. Also in the comics, Glenn is killed by Negan in a very similar way. Again, as far as Talking Dead goes, they almost always have the person who died on the show following the episode. Could the producers be cheeky enough to have Daryl on the show, but making us think that it's NOT him (but it really is)? Or, could the producers be so sly as to follow the comics on this one, knowing that many viewers will assume they won't this time???

So many questions!!!

Some of the reasons I thought it might be Daryl is because he was on the panel lst night, and apparently, he has a show about motorcycle riding on the road now, and because he is beloved by all, I think.

I have to reluctantly say it's probably Abraham.

I base this on the look Abraham gave Negan. I think that look made Negan think Abraham would not submit to Negan's demands of bringing supplies, etc. and therefore he could be eliminated without any "economic" hardship to Negan.

If it's him, I will miss all his witticisms.

I think it was a stellar episode. No one complained when we didn't know "who shot JR" so I don't quite get why people all over the web feel entitled to know now.

On the other hand, there is a shot going around the internet that apparently shows the shadow of Carl's hat on Negan as Negan raised the club. So who knows?

At least we know there is a new season coming up and it didn't get canceled like The Glades right after the main character got shot right before his wedding.
