Will not watch the Duggar show.

Can not believe Anna is going to be on. That means she is getting paid and that will support her family including Josh her child molester husband. What was TLC thinking by including Anna in this show, not that I was going to watch anyway.

It will not matter whether you watch or not. The majority of TV reality comsumers will watch out of curiosity so the show will get a large viewership.

I have never watched any Duggar show. Thought it was bogus when they would talk about their kids and taking care of them. The parents had the kids, and the older ones are the ones who took care of the babies. Laughed out loud when the commercial for this new show came on and the one says"Family is everything."

Is that why she is exploiting hers for fame and the almight $$? JMO

The woman has 3 or 4 young children to support. Would you prefer she be on Public Assistance while their father is unemployed and in some kind of rehab?

You and I might not be watching, but I'll bet plenty of people are.

I feel like the archaic values instilled by the family's religious sect have clearly fostered an unhealthy upbringing in at least one of their family members. While I don't think their religious viewpoints have been exclusively responsible for the lack of moral conscience, I suppose that its views on respect for women and stifling of healthy, sexual development didn't help with guiding a young man into a modern society. All of us, along with TLC, have seen the result, and I just don't think it's in anyone's interest to uphold these people as a good example of the way children should be reared.

I feel that a normal childhood would have greatly profited those children.
Going to a school, dating, being social, and not confined to a house and the parents friends only.

The whole thing is outdated and outmoded..

Whether or not you watch their show isn't nearly as meaningful to me as the negative attitude of so many against the whole family. Certainly the girls who were apparently victimized are as innocent of any wrongdoing as they could possibly be. I don't care much for reality shows, but I definitely would not hold the victims responsible for any of the sins of their other family members.

Exceptions for reality shows I do enjoy - The Little Couple and parts of DanceMoms. Love watching the girls grow up and advance their dance skills.

I have never watched the Duggars and don't plan on watching this show about the girls. They are doing it for money and fame.

I don't watch the show but feel sorry for Anna. In the preview she looks like she's wearing a lot of makeup and has lost a good deal of weight. She probably feels she has to be perfect so her husband won't cheat on her again. I would like to see at least one of them get of this lifestyle, though I realize the chances of that are very low.

The Duggars show really isn't that different from the Kartrashians program. It's just another version of a freak show that some network is getting rich from. Just like the gossip rags, some people will be drawn to them like moths to a flame.

As PT Barnum said many years ago .... "No one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public."

It seems to still hold true today.

My father always said "You try to teach your kids right from wrong, and hope they pick the right one when the time comes." These kids haven't been exposed to anything/had any opportunity to learn critical thinking skills--or anything else!

I feel bad for the children too. She is a poor example of how to let people treat you by supporting him. Hope those kids are safe with him around him.
