Good Wife - Spoilers!

I know we've talked about this before and many of us aren't surprised but I didn't know for sure if The Good Wife was ending but last night they said it was ending and be sure to catch the last few episodes.

Someone said it was ending in April. That was really a quick decision since Julianna mentioned it during that earlier awards ceremoney and everyone was like..."What? Wait?"

Now it's a given I guess. I'd read where it was something about her wanting more money and other's didn't think it would happen since she is a producer. Well, they said last night it is ending.

Did others of you catch that?

Yes, it was announced on Feb 7. The series finale is set for May 8.

The showrunners announced in January that they were leaving and it coincided with a time when everyone's contract was up.There is talk of a spinoff show with Cary Agos and Diane Lockhart. The Kings (former show runners) are involved in those talks, so it's possible. I had read that Matt Czuchry was the only cast member to sign a contract for another season, so that seems plausible. We'll just have to wait and see.

@ChynnaBlue Thanks for posting that. It's hard to give up the shows we all like.

I guess people want to move on or for whatever reason. At least this isn't one show that I feel like (which I often do) I've given it the stink eye just by watching and liking a show.

It often seems like, if I like it, it gets canceled.

I hope Person of Interest doesn't go away. The last season wasn't very good. I think that's when they lost a lot of people.

I know I keep mentioning a TV show called "Episodes" on cable, but it showed me how some of this TV stuff is done. I love that show.

@Pearlee @ChynnaBlue Well, thank you too Pearly. I have found that if one doesn't check here often people's posts move so quickly things get missed (at least on my part).

I don't always go back and read posts way back. I'm terribly guilty on that. I always say I have the attention span of a fruit fly! It doesn't last long. I bored so quickly and move on. I seldom finish something unless it's important to me.

I have a daughter (oldest) who is the exact opposite. She lives in a state of frustration with me. She manages the businesses her Dad left me and the money, etc.

Downton Abby and The Good Wife all in one season. I am still mourning Mad Men. I am glad that all the series are stopping at the height of their popularity.

I'll post on here because it says in the headlines "spoiler".

I think she will divorce Peter (but it will have to be quick). I don't think this romance is going anywhere though. If it does it's because they don't have much time to develop the relationship and will pull a Y&R (meaning just pull it out of thin air).

I hope that some of our old favorites comes back. I'd even like to see her son come back for part of one episode. He used to play an integral part of a story line.

Who were some of the oldies? Remember that guy who was a thought to be killer but was creepy but had a crush on her?

I LOVE the red haired lady who is smart and weird. She's one of my favorites.

I loved her too Annabell ... I couldn't figure out her name ... It was L Beth or something, and one of the attorneys from the State's Attorney's Office was in love with her ... they had some wild chemistry !! She was hysterical ... I too love the show and went back to PURCHASE all the seasons ... Great show ... Always a twist which I enjoyed. I missed Will too much ... Never got over his absence ... Peter got on my nerves ... He was better as "Big" on Sex and The City in my opinion. It was a great show and I don't watch much traditional TV ... Mostly reality shows on cable ... The Good Wife was the only show I watched except The Amazing Race, Survivor and Big Brother ...
