Anyone else see the movie Sinners? I thought it was beautiful, interesting and soulful. Well written and researched. Thoughts?

I'm not a horror film fan but this has so much more. The scene with the generations of musicians gave me chills. The acting is superb.

I haven't seen it yet either but I know people that saw it multiple times and the reviews are great. I do like a good horror film and will go if someone can go with me during the daytime of course.

I haven't seen it yet, but my friend has and she said it is excellent!!!!! She loved it and so did her husband. She gave it 10 stars!!!

I am planning on seeing it again this time in IMAX.

It is a movie you think about long after you leave the theater. So much to unpack.

I am still waiting to see it. I think it started streaming recently we have to check. Just the few tease scenes I've seen have me anxious to watch it!

@Luvitorleaveit1 Didn't get a chance to watch it, hubby wanted to watch The Accountant 2, which we both liked as well, maybe next weekend!!!!!

My sister is the only person I talked to that didn't like Sinners.....

@CANDLEQUEEN -we didn't watch Sinners either, we checked but $20 to rent or buy is too much so we are waiting for it to be free. Watched Straw though oh my goodness, now that was some kind of movie!

I still have to watch Accountant 2. There is something about Ben Affleck that I just love!

It was really expensive too, and I dont want to spend 20.00 either....So we'll see....

It is now on MAX. We watched it last night.

I really enjoyed the movie. Michael B. Jordan was great. The story was intriguing and kep my interest the entire time.

Make sure you watch the entire movie. It isn’t over when the first series of credits start to roll. Sneaky. We thought it was excellent. Keep watching.

@CANDLEQUEEN -I think it's on Netflix, not sure about Prime. I love Taraji she is a great actress, I enjoy all her movies. Straw had my full attention from the beginning to the end. I hope you get to watch it.

I thought Sinners was EXCELLENT! Many fine performances, especially Michael B. Jordan. But for me, the standout performance was given by the 20-yr old guitar/singer, Miles Caton. It was his very first movie role, and the first time he played guitar — he had to learn it for the role. His voice is so soulful and his presence is mesmerizing.
