Netflix with commercials

Did anyone else's subscription just default to this? Mine did this week. The monthly charge is cheaper but there are ads. So far on a one hour show there was one before it started and one interruption. Both were quite short in duration. If it doesn't get worse than that I will probably stick with it.

I kind of like them...provides time for a trip to the kitchen or a bathroom break.

Yes but we get Netflix free with out T mobile account so I will take it

We have Netflix free with our Xfinity so we've always had the commercials. They are so short I'm lucky I have time to run to the bathroom. Doesn't bother me at all.

I can hit the pause button if I need a break, don't need or want commercials. I don't care much for Netflix these days so I put my account on Pause for the time being.

No commercials, simply pause when needed.

I stream all of my entertainment, so I do not mind commercials. As someone else mentioned, it allows me to run to the bathroom or the kitchen. Hallmark has the best pauses. They usually are about 4-5 minutes, so you can take care of something. :-)

Yes, I hadn't watched Netflix in a while so I did see that message the other day. My first thought was "Huh, I thought there always were commercials."

Yes, just today. Commercials are short and my price was cut in half so I am thrilled!

We get commercial free NF with Xfinity free.

@Pecky Yes, it is based on when your subscription starts and they send you the price structure a few weeks early. The new price is $6.99/mo. If you don't like it and want to go back to ad free, it will now be $15.49/mo.

@Bookplate Thank you! I think I could deal with a few commercials for &7 a month. I did go into my account and it doesn't tell me the date of my membership. It does give me the option to change to the one with ads. Is there alot of commercials?

@Pecky This is my first week with it. I have only seen two one hour shows so far. Eash one had only one ad in the middle lasting only 10 seconds. One of the two shows also had a brief ad before it started; the other did not. So far it is very minimal. If it doesn't get worse than this I will definitely stick with it. But maybe they are easing me into it? Time will tell.

I have not seen commercials on Netflix yet.

Bathroom or snack breaks are easy by just pausing.

We would pay the extra for commercial free viewing since we do not tape and fast forward through them.

So many ways to watch programming today.

I am watching the new Netflix show about the Mummy's boy Andrew. This is the first time I have encountered ads and I am paying the higher monthly rate:/

I will need to contact Netflix about this and maybe just go down to the lower rate 🤷‍♀️

The ads are short though and infrequent.
