Anyone see this last night, it premiered after DWTS on abc, it moved quick and was cleverly written. The star, Kaitlin Olson is getting rave reviews.

I just posted when I saw your post so I deleted mine. I thought it was ok. It just seemed incoherent. I will watch next week to see if it improves.

I'm weird about always asking "could that really happen" when watching a tv show and rolling my eyes at the writers' details. At first when the police let her (basically a stranger) tag along to a crime scene and see sensitive information, I thought - this is ridiculous. That could never happen. This show isn't for me. I kept watching and ended up enjoying it. The offer of employment was another eyeroll moment because we all know government offices won't hire anyone on the spot without doing background checks, etc. Again, yes, I'm weird about that but unless it's a sci-fi movie, I like things to at least appear to be "real."

I'm recording the series but haven't watched the first episode yet.

Sometimes pilots appear confusing, but they're trying to cram in all the necessary background, so we shall see.

Thinking back, I wasn't impressed with the first Will Trent episode, but that did better with subsequent shows.

I watched it, since I'm looking for new shows to watch while I'm riding my exercise bike in the evenings, after losing shows to cancellations. I liked this show a lot, and hope it goes forward and gets even better over time. I think the lead did a very good job portraying what it's like to be what some folks like to call "gifted", it's not always a walk in the park! (You don't want to know what my IQ tested at, back in the day.)

All of the cast members were on other hit shows before, good casting. I love Daniel Sunjata years ago on Rescue Me, and Jevecia Leslie was from God Friended Me and Olson was on Hacks, the other female cop was from Succession.

Most brilliant people are unique. They aren't preoccupied with making a good impression, being popular. I watched and thought it had possibilities.

I recorded the show last night as it comes on too late for me. I watched this afternoon and really liked it. It was different. True to my luck though, it will probably be cancelled since that is what happens every time I like a show.

I liked it. But I was looking for entertainment; it's not a police procedural. If a D.A. can hire a medium, the police department can hire this gal lol.

They repeated the first episode last night at 10 pm est. Liked it. She sure is a fascinating person. Cute kids!

@Tinkrbl44 I used to see commercials for Will Trent and got the impression it was more like a comedy or at least was supposed to be funny. Then, I tuned in one night when, for some reason, I was unable to watch the show I normally watch and it seemed kinda dark. I only watched the last 20 minutes or so though. However, it seems the commercials all focused on the upbeat funny parts of the show.

I once talked my husband into seeing the movie Gross Anatomy because everything in the ads for it was funny. I think they must've used every funny clip in their ads because the movie itself was far from funny. I still enjoyed it, but I like medical stuff. DH, not so much.

Will Trent is my favorite show. I like that the back story exposes the foster system abuse.

@Shelbelle Thank you..I was trying to remember where I knew Daniel Sunjata from...Rescue Me...loved that show! Love Hacks too!
