Except for Tori, I don't believe I know any of the other stars. But that is okay. I enjoy learning about other contenders and have probably seen them before, just don't recognize their names. And anyway, I watch because I love to see the dancing and the process to making their dance great.

I was listening to the GMA segment with the participants and am still trying to figure out how 5'7" Daniella can comfortably teach and then dance with 6'10" Dwight Howard.

I have only heard of three of those people. I really have not been invested in watching in years. When they had that other woman host who had the crazy outfits, that is when I really got turned off. Plus I got tired of all the back sob stories. Also, some of the judging did not make sense to me.

If the show was just the dancing and then scores, I might watch.

I will say that the costume department to me is the real star of the show.

I had never heard of Anna Sorokin Delvey. Why in the world would we "reward" her with a spot on DWTS when she defauded banks and people out of $275,000?

I used to love this show, but IMO it "jumped the shark" a while ago.

I haven't watched since Tom and Erin were fired, even if I like some of the stars/contestants. Some of my friends here and I were talking about it a few years ago, when Derek, Maks, and Val were dancing, and we decided the pros were actually the "stars"! LOL!

Interesting celebrity cast for Season 33. But, I'm a bit irked about Anna Delvey being cast. If all I've read (and watched) about her is true, it appears she's a master manipulator and felon, with no regrets for exploiting others.

She fights everything with a vengeance and turns it in her favor. Even deportation. I'm not surprised she worked a plan, even with ankle monitor, to perform and do as she pleases. Rules bend wherever she goes. What voodoo does she possess?

Yes, she must cast spells over people, because even with her reported notorious history, she still manages to solicit support and favors from others. Now DWTS is another format where she is being glamorized. It's as though she's being gifted with rewards for bad behavior.

Her comment: 'I'm not nervous about anything except what costumes I might have to wear.' It figures. Why should she worry, when becoming a Star?

Again, some of her reported history may be true, some false, but there was enough incriminating evidence to jail and then monitor her.
