Passed away this morning in Texas days after her 75th birthday. The Shinning still scares me.

An amazing actress. One of the many movies I loved her in was Cyrano.

She was super talented and a terrific person. Besides her acting, she created, produced, and directed many kids' programs. Some were nominated for Emmys.

Her partner cited diabetes complications as the cause. Her birthday (75th) was on July 7th.

More than several years she did an extensive interview with Dr. Phil and they discussed her mental health problems. It was pitiful to say the least. Physically she was unrecognizable and her behavior was not really of someone who had experienced success. Years later he received a lot of criticism for permitting her to expose herself that way. I can't really remember particulars about the interview but I do remember feeling so sorry for her. I hope her remaining years after that interview were easier and that she was able to recover to some degree from her illness.

Sad news. I remember her series Fairy Tale Theater from the 1980's.

Many stars of the day appeared in the show.
