Actress Anouk Aimee dead at 92.

Anouk Aimée, the French film actress who became an international sex symbol as the aloof, enigmatic and sensual star of Claude Lelouch’s 1966 romance “A Man and a Woman,” died on Tuesday at her home in Paris. She was 92.

Her death was announced by her daughter, Manuela Papatakis.

By the time she appeared in “A Man and a Woman,” Ms. Aimée had already made a considerable impression in international film, particularly in Federico Fellini’s “La Dolce Vita” (1960), in which she played a sex-hungry Italian socialite, and Fellini’s “8 ½” (1963), in which she portrayed the lead character’s jealous but patient wife.

But it was with “A Man and a Woman,” a 28-year-old director’s low-budget project that went on to win the Oscar for best foreign film, that Ms. Aimée created the image that endured throughout her career.

She aged beautifully (whether she had surgical help or not). Such a beautiful woman. Prayers for peace for her.

What a beautiful woman!

I do not know this actress but I'm going to find out by watching some of those movies! Ooh! La-la!😘

Even if she had some "work" done, I like the way she is dressed, hair style and her "look" at an advanced age.

She was a beautiful woman. I did not realize she was 92. I always thought that foreign actresses had an earthiness that American actresses lacked. Some like Simone Signoret, Jean Moreau, Melina Mercouri, Anna Magnani had that natural sex appeal that American actresses did not and maybe that is because we did not see war in America in modern times. They endured hardships and suffering that we did not and I think that may have given them an edge with the camera. That being said, I think at one time Catherine Denueve was the most beautiful woman in the world.
