It would be impossible for me to mention just one favorite song, whether a love song or sad song. Sinatra comes to mind with all his lost love songs, saloon songs as they call them. Any singer who sings with feeling and emotion and touches me is my favorite. I have a long list.

There are so many that it's hard to name just one. But for these types of threads I always go with the first thing that comes to mind. For me it's "I will always love you" by Dolly Parton and later rerecorded by Whitney Houston. Just beautiful.
