Need recap of final episode of The Good Doctor

I need a recap of the final show. I was watching The Voice finale and kept switching back and forth.I saw some of it but did Claire live after her surgery? Could someone tell me what happened to the central characters? I did see Shawn and Lea with their son and she was pregnant with baby # 2.

This is one show that really needs to be seen, I would make a special point to see it online and not read summary.

@Shelbelle I agree but she may not be able to stream it.

The BEST ending to a series I've seen in I don't know how long. Really really good and didn't go with the obvious. A great end to a great series.

I watched it and deleted it and don't recall them expecting another baby! .. but I'm hearing disabled so miss some things reading captions. Someone please let us know how it ends.

The end was a look into the future of the main characters and cast and Shaun and Lea had their son and also a daughter. Shaun was also head of surgery at the hospital.

When I was watching I kept thinking: I've seen this before. I had. It was quite similar to the series finale of New Amsterdam.

Park & Morgan adopted baby was a "toddler" 10 years in the future? Plus, she was not in the audiance although everyone else children were there.

Dr. Marcus Andrews was another MIA 10 years into the future.

The actor who played Dr Marcus in real life is running for a Senate seat. Reason why he has been MIA for the past 2 seasons.

Great ending. Glad it's over.

Yes, I thought that the finale was a worthy ending to a program that I usually watched but every once in a while, got on my nerves.

I felt that a lot of thought and time went into the finale.

I will really miss it.

I just watched the finale and I thought it was an excellent ending. I did say to my DH that is was similar to how New Amsterdam ended.
