Coming Up On General Hospital

Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) has set a series of events in motion that should begin to take place as we head into May.

Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s Wedding To Remember!

Much of the action happening in May will be centered around the wedding of Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Chase. Spoilers are that the ceremony will be quite an event with a beautiful ceremony and a venue chock full of happy guests.

Chase and Brook Lynn both have large families who will most certainly be in attendance as they take their vows.

Brook Lynn’s Bensonhurst family such as Carmine Cerullo (George Russo) and Gloria Cerullo (Ellen Travolta) are already confirmed to attend as well as a couple new characters named Gio and Cousin Patty.

Trouble During The Ceremony!

Even though the ceremony should be a mostly happy event, there is a potential for trouble and maybe even a bit of danger!

First, as viewers know, Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) has been experiencing worsening symptoms from his ALS and will continue on a downward spiral.

He’s supposed to officiate the ceremony but that may not be possible as his condition continues to worsen. But that’s not the only potential issue.

Sonny and Jason may both have a target on their back if they show up.

Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), the new head of Pikeman, may choose the ceremony to strike at his enemies.

As for Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), her concerns about Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) getting in trouble could also come to fruition.

Sonny Corinthos May Go To Jail!

Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has been preparing to have Sonny arrested for his attack of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) that could potentially happen in the next few weeks.

Meanwhile, Ava will continue to get her hooks into Sonny even as she keeps the secret that someone has tampered with Sonny’s medication.

Sworn enemies Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) may find that to save Sonny they will need to join forces. But can they prevent Sonny from serving prison time?

I found today's episode "annoying": First Natalia visiting Maxie at Deception. Second, Olivia with Sasha. Third, Anna with Valentin or is it Val with Anna?

What is it with Mama Natalia? She signed the contract to have Blaze the Face of Deception. Asking questions about BLQ's role in Deception and as her daughter's music manager is IMHO closing the barn door after the horse has left the stable.

Again, I chastize Olivia for not having food to eat in (via the MC restaurant) the Q larder. Having Mikey, Leo, Wiley and herself come to the kitchen for a "taste test" just rubbed me the wrong way. "More oregano, less basil"...really? Do the Q's actually sit down to dinner with the family? Guessing not. Does Olivia prepare and serve any dish that is not Italian? (No offense to my Italian friends.)

And Mikey and Wiley (and little Amelia), they have their own home and does Willow know how to cook for her beloved family? Does Mikey?

And this "cat and mouse" with Valentin and Anna is soooo getting on my nerves. Personally, Anna, I do not think you are a match for Valentin...just sayin'....

Drew and Nina doing the, yet again, "rug tango"...EWWWW Not because of the tango; because of the two participants.......EWWW And Nina accidentally spilling the sex beans to Maxie. High school anyone?

Jason/Dex: Will have to see how this (is it "holy" or "unholy" alliance) moves along. Add to the mix, Commish Anna.

The only positive takeaway for me today was when Cody said to Sasha, if necessary, she could live upstairs and he would sleep "with the beasts" downstairs. Chivalry is not dead.

@mysoutherncomfort Mamma Natalia is annoying as heck, abrasive and totally one note and you are right, she signed the contract. Some of those questions and comments about Brook Lynn were out of line, I thought. Maxie should've tossed her out.

@BeckiWV I think this pic is the closest thing we are getting this year for the Nurses' Ball. I believe the Q wedding has taken our song and dance fun. Unless the other Travolta shows up too with his sister for a full on wedding dance number, boo on ABC.

Weds May 1, 2024: TJ offends Kristina, Curtis tells Portia about Drew’s job offer, and Natalia gets Alexis’ goat.

Curtis drops by the Aurora office and Drew excitedly tells him about their plans to launch the gym.

He asks if he wants to run the wellness division.

He hands him an official offer. Curtis flips through.

As they chat, Nina arrives at the door and eavesdrops before bursting in, asking if he’s joining the Aurora family.

This leads to her and Drew taunting each other.

She urges her friend to know what he’s getting into if he’s getting into bed with Drew.

Curtis has a lot to think about and leaves, telling them to play nice.

Once Curtis is gone, Nina tells Drew not to take advantage of her friend. He says he’s not.

She asks why Willow was there yesterday before they had their lapse of sanity.

He fills her in about the spokesperson position he offered her daughter.

When she agrees to let him meet the congressman with her this afternoon, he wonders why she’s so accommodating.

She says he gets access to the politician and he gets her access to her daughter.

Aiden drops off some cupcakes at GH for his mom at the nurses’ station.

Before he can leave, Liz catches him at the elevator.

When she hugs him, she spots paint on his backpack.

He claims it happened in art class.

She remembers he had paint in his hair last week.

He makes an excuse and leaves.

Liz plods over to Portia, who asks about cupcakes.

The nurse tells her that someone seems to have been flicking paint on her son.

They worry about bullying.

Liz doesn’t want to hover and isn’t sure where this falls on the spectrum.

The doctor suggests she talk to his teachers.

Later, Liz calls the school counsellor for an appointment.

Portia meets with Curtis at the Metro Court for lunch.

He fills her in on Drew’s offer to head up Aurora’s new health and wellness division.

This is the kind of opportunity that only happens once. Does she think he should go for it?

She’s not sure about all this. He’s just getting back on his feet and she thinks he’s taking on too much.

Curtis points out that he barely needs to run The Savoy at this point. He has staff.

She still worries. He offers to build time into his schedule to keep the club on track.

She’s more worried about Selina taking advantage of his absence.

He reassures her and points out he can set his own schedule. She will miss him.

He won’t be away too much and knows he can build something he can be proud of.

She can’t say no to that.

Curtis calls Drew and tells him he’s in.

At Deception, Maxie begs Scott to talk Lucy into dropping out of being the spokesmodel.

Lucy blows in and brags about all the followers she has.

She asks him to come and watch her performance on Home & Heart.

As she goes on about how the product should be named after her, Maxie reminds her of what she’s supposed to be doing and urges Scott to stop the madness.

The lawyer tells Lucy her TV appearance was a disaster.

Maxie adds it was a dumpster fire.

Lucy claims she crushed it and Maxie says she was only selling herself and not the product. She knows she has a following but that doesn’t translate to sales.

Lucy claims the sales are skyrocketing because of her.

Maxie prompts Scott to explain. He doesn’t.

Maxie explains that it was Sasha stepping in that moved product.

Lucy is appalled that she is giving Sasha credit.

She demands that Scott back her up but he sides with Maxie.

Maxie reminds her that the company belongs to all of them.

To succeed, they need to sell and she’s the wrong salesperson.

Lucy says she’s the only person they have to pitch.

Maxie says there is one other person.

Kristina joins Molly and TJ for breakfast at their place.

He asks her about stopping by the other night after a fight.

Molly says she just wanted to talk and Kristina says she needed sister time.

He asks what she was arguing with Joss about and she explains she has turned on Sonny.

TJ is concerned about her safety and says that might mean keeping her from that side of her family.

Kristina refuses to stay away from her father but he reminds her Curtis was shot in his vicinity and urges her to take some distance.

Offended, she insists she’s taking care of herself and walks out.

Molly asks TJ what that was all about.

He says he was just thinking of their baby’s well-being.

She tells him to have a sense of proportion about this.

He’s not sorry for speaking his mind to the woman carrying their child.

Molly thinks that he’s being a control freak.

They bicker about this and she accuses him of judging her sister.

He thinks they should have some say in how she lives her life and she says they can’t do that with her sister.

TJ worries that, unlike with a surrogate, they will never get her sister’s baggage out of their lives.

She can understand his concerns and is dreading prosecuting the biological grandfather of their child.

But she thought they all had an understanding about this. He’s still worried Kristina will start second-guessing their parenting.

She claims that her sister has changed for the better over the past few years.

“I guess we’ll see. We have no choice at this point,” he says.

Natalia stops by Alexis’ office and introduces herself. She assumes she has heard some less than flattering things about her.

They chat about how she met Kristina and meeting Sonny.

She brings up the pregnancy and the complications it poses.

After some preamble, Natalia says she’s concerned for her daughter.

She wants to have a private life and worries people will assume that Kristina’s baby is theirs.

She worries about people snapping pictures of them and saying things on social media.

Alexis is sure they can weather whatever comes at them. Natalia thinks that’s idealistic and the fallout for Blaze could be much bigger.

Alison is a star. Kristina is a bartender.

Alexis doesn’t see what this has to do with her and tells her she’s busy before ushering her out the door.

As soon as she’s gone, she calls Diane to vent. She’s not picking up, so she leaves a ranty message.

Crying Kristina comes in to complain about her sister and TJ wanting her to step away from Sonny.

Alexis gets her to breathe and sit down. The baby starts kicking.

Her mom tells her how hard she used to kick.

“Maybe my baby takes after me,” Kristina says.

Her mom looks worried.

@cowboy sam for me it was the Deception scenes of Maxie and Scott trying to tell Lucy how it really was, lol, and Natalia meeting Alexis.

Alexis didn't really say anything but I don't think she liked Natalia saying Blaze was a."star" and Kristina was (just) a "bartender".

I hope sooner or later, Mama Alexis will let Mama Natalia have it because I want to be there for it 😂

Just coming on to reiterate how much I dislike Drew and TJ. I do FF any time Drew is on and he starts with the hands but I do watch the TJ parts because I am hoping one of these Davis women is actually going to have me rooting for them when they verbally take that little twit down.

@BeckiWV , I,too, am hoping Alexis puts Natalia in her place. Or maybe Blaze can stand up for herself. I may have missed it. Is Natalia her manager or just an overbearing mom? I know Brookie is her music manager but thinking maybe mom is her manager for this Deception stint and I missed it.

@Wsmom I always liked TJ until they suddenly changed him into the jackass he's been the last couple of weeks. What's up with that?? He was always the sensible one! He wouldn't be able to be so controlling if the surrogate was anyone else. They should have adopted!

@AuntG ...agreed about the moms but she doesn't even have to tell her off. When I start to give an unwanted "opinion" to my adult DD all it takes is a simple "mom" and I get it and shut up. lol

@BeckiWV @Wsmom Natalia is Blaze's business manager which means she handles contracts and essentially anything outside of performance gigs. Brookie is her booking manager which means she finds performance venues for said gigs and handles the details associated with that. Welcome to show business! Everyone gets a cut! 💰

Maybe we can get Natalia and Drew together and they can find a desk. The woman obviously needs to relax and let it go.
