Mama June Family Crisis Mid Season Finale

Just wanted to post that tonight is the mid season finale.

In case you've missed what's going on, it's been crazy of course.

Alana has finally made it to college in Denver. She received a big scholarship, but not enough to cover all her tuition. She needs $11,000 each semester.

When she went to June for the money she earned that was put in a special account, she was told all that's left is roughly $30,000. There should've been much, much more.

She finally admitted to drugging up over a million dollars and is now refusing to even help her with tuition. So, her sister Pumpkin gave her the $11,000 she had to have to start college.

This episode is supposed to reveal A LOT MORE! Alana is threatening to sue and her new husband is threatening divorce.

This sums up what's happened up to this point. Tonight's episode should be a doozy!😳

I will say, I admire Alana for making it this far. I also admire her sister for really stepping up to help her. However, I'm not happy about the fact that Alana's live in boyfriend is in trouble with the law for dui, possession of marijuana (in Georgia), and trying to outrun the law with her in the car. I don't know what will come of this. I don't think she's ever had another boyfriend. I was hoping college would expose her to more people.

Also, her sister with cancer has not yet passed on the show. Pumpkin might have to gain custody of one of her daughters in the event of her death (which has already happened)❤️

Reading this post is heartbreaking!💔, and inspiring! It has been difficult watching SO much dysfunction play out over the years as it has unfortunately with them!😐 I always ROOT for the underdog and have for them since the beginning!👍 Things get better, then worse for them. Through it all, they LOVE each other in their unique way, and that is why I occasionally tune in now. 😊 I was deeply saddened to read about the passing of dear Anna, as she tried SO hard, and fought a courageous cancer battle!💝 I truly am ROOTING for this family; ESPECIALLY Alana, with hopes of better things to come for all of them!🥰

I haven't been keeping up with them but saw headlines online that June took Alana's money which is certainly not shocking. I wonder if June's marriage with this new guy will last. Isn't his name Justin? What kind of person is he?

I'm glad that Pumpkin gave Alana money but wish Alana wasn't dating and focusing more on her studies. I wouldn't have thought her relationship would have lasted this long due to her age. I feel bad for her for many reasons. It's sad that her parents both have so many problems.

I pretty much bailed on this show a few years ago, but have always hoped Alana and her sisters would do well and be successful in life.

I commend Alana for looking at a nursing career, but do not understand why she didn't look into a local program for nursing. A cheaper, local program where she could easily commute, and have family support at all times. I feel she has aspirations far beyond her abilities by choosing to go to Colorado, kinda like Pumpkins recent attempt at cake decorating! Based on years of watching this show, when it comes to making a choice, the girls in this family overlook a safe obvious choice, for whatever is the farthest, probably least attainable choice.

I was beginning to think I was the only person here who watched lol.

I'm always rooting for this family too. They do love and depend on each other. I know people in my community who are basically the same as this family. I mean, lots of folks are dealing with similar issues...maybe without all the money and cameras around lol.

Pumpkin even talked about maybe starting a career for herself. She's interested in baking and mentioned schools. I kinda hoped the next season might focus on a makeover for her and Alana. Considering all they've been through I think they really deserve it.

I sure hope June hasn't spent all of their money. I'd forgotten that all the kids were paid for all those seasons they appeared on the different shows. She was supposed to have put this money in different accounts for each of them. IT's incomprehensible for me to think someone could have blown over a million dollars in just 3 years on drugs! 😡

I want all the kids to do well.❤️

I watched this from the first honey boo boo show(not bragging). In the beginning i just figured they were unfortunate, uneducated, and i really rooted for them to succeed at getting out of their lot in life and make a success. As the seasons came and went they spiraled further into dysfunction and no matter how much money or fame you threw at them it wasnt changing anything. I stopped watching when June moved to Florida with the new guy. I have concluded THEY ARE ALL NUTS!!!! AND YOU CAN'T FIX STUPID!!

Honestly, at first I thought Oh No! She got all his teeth fixed and bought him 2 huge platinum and diamond necklaces. To me they look ridiculous.
But, Justin seems to be a pretty decent guy. He's really serious about his sobriety and part of that includes never lying. This is a big deal in the show right now because June's been lying to him!

June wouldn't give Alana a dime towards college, but the last episode showed her telling Justin she wanted to go to Vegas to celebrate her Birthday! She actually claimed she's never got to celebrate it before!

I'm thinking Alana may really sue her mom. Something else weird is I haven't seen her old manager or them mention her for a long time. I don't know what's going on with that.

I completely agree with you about their crazy choices. It didn't make any sense to me that Alana move to Colorado either. Sure, she got a scholarship, but still has to pay $22,000 out of pocket every single year for 4 years!

I have many different kinds of nurses in my family, even nurse practitioners and they went locally and paid nowhere near that amount! Nit much if a scholarship if you ask me lol! Plus, her apartment costs $2400 per month nit counting bills. She said she didn't want to live in the nice dorms because of her fame and didn't want to be bothered by fans lol.

The real reason is her boyfriend can't live in the dorms! He's supposedly got a job working at a scooter repair shop, but I don't think this job will last. He's already complaining about having to get up so early.

I hope the move to Colorado wasn't because they thought it was more of a "party" state. I don't know? She could find a school there that cost less. She seems stuck on that one place for some reason.

I really wanted to see June succeed and turn her life around too. Now, I watch mainly because I've watched the kids grow up and I want to see them do well. I enjoy the show with Pumpkins family, her sisters and some if the other relatives.

One thing I find super weird though is that Alana never even went to her dad fir help with college. In fact, they haven't shown him in a couple seasons now. That's odd!

I heard the manager did that! She's also the manager of Scott Dissik. He's the guy that dated Kourtney Kardashian. They were together for YEARS and had three kids together. He was always on the show. He's a real piece of work too, if you know what I mean!

@cheriere I looked up the manager and apparently she closed her management buisness and is doing other work in the entertainment industry. Not adult entertainment or anything like that lol. Their manager has represented a lot of famous or infamous people.

She actually seems like a really nice lady and I liked her. I wondered why she was letting June and her kids stay at her home but I guess she's generous and doesn't judge people like others probably would due to her past. She was really kind to the family. Of course she was making money off of them but didn't have to do all that she did. Maybe she's the only manager June could get lol. It does figure that she'd choose her.

I do know who a lot of those people are like Scott because I have daughters and they watched so many of these shows. They are grown and gone now but some of these shows have continued. It's pretty crazy when you think about it really. At least it is to me.

@cheriere Sugar Bear said he was addicted to drugs and checked in a rehab and then checked right back out. I wonder if that's why Alana doesn't want anything to do with him?

I always liked Gina too. I'm sure you're right about June not being able to get another manager too. If I'm remembering correctly, she was just coming out of that big scandal with that other boyfriend who'd been in serious trouble. That's why the network they'd been in dropped them and the show. They were lucky this other network picked up the new show. Gina had to really work hard to get that.

@cheriere I've watched since the beginning and wow has it changed a lot . I agree with everything you've posted about the family . I enjoy Alana, pumpkin and the family except June . I feel her marriage won't be lasting Justin really seems like an up standing man and isn't going to put up with her lies and hurting Alana I don't feel . If she can afford Vegas for her bday then give that to zalsns to help her.

Alana has stated several times that the nursing school in Denver is the very best and that's the reason she wanted to go there .

No, I didn't watch that early in to remember his brother, but it sounds like I missed out lol.

I never liked Jennifer either. I figured she just married him to get the show and get a makeover. Then, that kinda fell apart lol.

I do remember that Marriage Bootcamp show where he admitted to that! I couldn't believe it! It's hard for me to even imagine HIM like that lol. He must be able to pick up all kinds of people, but I have no idea how!😳
