although I'm not a foodie and will never cook or eat like that, I've been a Top Chef fan for years. How do you like the new format? The new host Kristin? Are you developing any feelings towards the cheftestants yet? I already like Manny

In my childhood, we lived in Milwaukee because my dad was an executive at Miller Brewing. So, I'm really enjoying this season of Top Chef. I can't wait to see what they will make with cheese, & I'm wondering if bratwurst will be in a future episode.

I lived in Saratoga Springs, NY for a while as an adult, & it's nice to see Saratoga bottled water as one of the sponsors this season. Saratoga is a beautiful area.

It's too early for me to form perpectives on the contestants.

@smoochy I love the new format and really enjoy Kristin. Got sick of Padma. I have last night's episode on DVR to watch today.

I actually watched for the first 15 seasons and got tired of it and restarted last season. Am enjoying it very much after my long break.

I'm not sure yet about the new format and I don't know how long Kristin will last but I do like her so far.

I didn't watch last nights yet, it's on the DVR but I will say, the right person went home last week. Obnoxious!

Yes - I like the new format and love seeing Milwaukee sites. I just watched the most recent show (no spoilers) but I found the judges comments were difficult to understand as in I could not hear most of them clearly. I was disappointed because one of the guest judges was Charlie Berens (I think I am spelling his name correctly) who is a comedian from Wisconsin that I love. He did make one comment I could partially hear - something about if the chef brought the dish to a pot luck they would probably be invited back. I just wish I could have heard all of his comments!

It takes me a minute or two to form opinions on the cooks and I'm sorry but I just don't care much for the new judge - Kirsten. I guess because I liked Padma so much and really thought she just added so much to the show.

To be honest, I liked Padma but she was so monotone and hardly laughed. Kristin is a breath of fresh air so far after watching one episode. I need to watch #2. I gave up watching last season and the season before because I was bored and didn't like the chefs at all.
