I saw it in the theatre when it was first released. It's been a couple years so I don't remember a lot of details, but my overall recollection was that it was a good movie, not Oscar-worthy, but definitely worth my time and what I spent for the ticket! I hope that helps.

I thought it was good. Showed how people can change. Mark walburg was good, as usual. Makes you remember "you can't judge a book by it's cover".

I watched and really liked it. In fact after I took more time to read about Father Stu. Interesting to me.

As I recall, the ratings for the movie were high..Most people enjoyed and recommended it. I hope to see it eventually.

Read about the real Father Stu. They manipulated his story to fit a stereotype. I thought it was not well done.

Sorry, I'm in a minority here, and I am a Mark Walberg fan but I did not care for this movie at all, I thought it was boring.

@HisElk1 I watched it on Netflix. I liked it because of the change in the character.

Worth a look.
