Little House On The Prairie 50 Year Anniversary

I watch Little House on Cozi TV often in the mornings. They're doing a Little House On The Prairie 50 year Anniversary special at the end of the month.

Right now they're airing the top 50 episodes. I'm enjoying watching very much. It's hard to believe it's been 50 Years! Makes me feel so old!

I am too. I always record the episodes in case I can't watch when they're on. I find them to be so relaxing and calming.💝

In the commercial, Melissa Gilbert said many of the cast members will be on the special. I'm looking forward to seeing how they look and what they've been up to all these years. Melissa looks so much the same.💝

I sure do wish Micheal Landon & Victor French were still with us.💝

Thanks so much for this. I love that show and I will definitely try to catch the special. I don't turn it on because I know I won't ba able to stop watching it. I won't get anything done at all.

yes, the series is on the Hallmark channel too. Sometimes I'll even watch it on both channels lol. Seems like they tend to cut out less of the episode on this network too.

I loved this show. Karen Grassle, the lady who played Caroline Ingalls, just died last year.

@cheriere Yes she was. Here's a pic of her in her later years. She was in her 80's when she passed away.

I don't know why people do the fake news of someone dying, so strange. Maybe to get clicks? I did see a fake youtube posting of her passing, all the comments said it was fake news...strange.

@colliemom4- I live in the same city where Little House was filmed and our local newspaper has had a number of articles about the 50th Anniversary coming up. The latest one on Saturday listed some of the cast who will appear and who they played. Laura, Almanzo, Nellie, Caroline Ingalls and some others. I googled Karen G. and there is no mention of her death. My daughter and I were avid watchers of this show as it was filmed about 10-15 minutes from our house.
