All Things DAYS--February 2024

I wanted to be sure I didn't drop the ball this month!! I finally got over my crud. My mom actually ended up with pneumonia and in the hospital, but she is doing much better now. I'm getting ready for my studio's semi-annual showcase in a couple of weeks--this year's theme is Rock through the Ages and of course, we're doing a mash up of classic rock (bob seger), yacht rock (Jimmy Buffett) and bubblegum rock (The Monkees).

February was and maybe still is? one of the sweeps months and back in the day--it was wedding month. I do miss the old DAYS of weddings--Jack and Jennifer, Doug and Julie, Mickey and Maggie.

Does anyone know if they did a tribute to Bill Hayes? He was always one of my favorite characters.

I hope you all have a terrific February, since it is 'extra' long this year!!!

According to Soaps.com Bill Hayes taped some shows up into Dec. his last airing will be on July 11 , the day of Susans real life 81st bday, it is kind of a tribute to her on this day, the final time we will see him.

@MamaWick Getting ready to get to my perch to watch today's show. If you stop and do the math, just about everyone in Salem has been incarcerated and held at Statesville!!! Like there's no other prison anywhere else?!! And rarely is there ever a guard!! I'm too busy, though, reading the signs on the walls looking for spelling errors. One used to say, "vistation." I hope today's show keeps me awake.

Stefan called it a Federal prison. I'm pretty sure it is a state prison because the Governor had commuted sentences. Just one of those things, Barbi, like the knobs on the stove that we catch.

Everyone goes to Statesville except of course for Lani who somehow ended up out of state on a state charge.

@MamaWick HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! See Pigletsmom's comment, too. I never picked up on these factoids. Silly how so many Salemites have been in prison, on death row, slept with one another, had paternity and baby switches!!! Can't forget how Sweet Bits keeps selling their goodies outside the store and never collects a dime.

They moved Lani out of state because all the prisoners in Statesville knew she was a cop. The "reason" was for her safety. Since she was leaving, and Eli was leaving, that's how they wrote both out.

Today's show -- was Chad trying to get the kids out the door to go to school or was it nighttime? I mean, he sure sat and yakked with Johnny for a long time. Those kids never came downstairs, he stopped rushing them, and he probably forgot all about them!! If it was the morning, what a strange time for Johnny to be out knocking on doors asking him to stand up for him.

I always laugh how people sit around a table on TV. They always leave a huge gap so the camera can see them all. Today in The Pub, the four cops were squeezed together at "the" table. Humorous.

With no Peacock, I play a fifteen minute condensed version off Facebook while DH and I eat breakfast. That rendition of "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" actually hurt our ears.

Forgot to mention yesterday --

I think it was Wednesday's show -- how silly was it that Steve and Stephanie were having a full-blown conversation AND Steph's phone rang and she started talking to Everett -- all the while Sweetness was sleeping right there????!!! No one even lowered their voices while the Chief of Staff was konked out. And the lights were on. Aaaand she had full makeup on.

The One Female Extra was seen as a nurse in one scene then, in the very next scene, she was spotted with a long wig and coat on in The Horton Square looking at flowers. It's so hard to tell what time of day or night it is in Salem. Some are eating breakfast.

Does Sloaney Baloney EVER hold that kid???? Doesn't Eric see this??? He must be exhausted. Hard to tell who's the more doting father, Xander or Eric. I'm surprised we don't see Eric in yoga pants and a bra.

Silly things I poke fun at. I can't help it. :-))))

Tyler Christopher's autopsy results showed a blood alcohol level of .327. No drugs or other medications were in his system. It saddens me to think that such a good actor was totally consumed by alcohol. He seemed like a truly nice person based on what people in the industry said about him. I recall reading out here years ago that his drinking caused him to be terminated from DOOL.

Was watching yesterday's show which featured a lot of close-ups of our friend Konstantin. His tongue sure does move around a lot to give him that fake Greek accent. Watch for yourselves.

I wish I had a handy card to pull out of my pocket to make people do whatever I wanted them to. Such nonsense. The Pawn. Ooooooh, so scary. Can you hear me rolling my eyes?

Today's show. What a trainwreck.

Chad and Everett in Statesville talking to Clyde who has his own cellphone IN JAIL!! Those two are not very threatening, whereas Clyde plays his evil part quite well. I will say, though, that IMHO, the scariest of them all is Orpheus. He scares me even though there are miles between us from FL and Salem USA.

Raise your hand PLEEEEEEZ if you also saw the One Female Background Actress and One Of The Two Male Background Actors in scene-after-scene each in different settings!!!! The Female is the one who plays the nurse, the diner in The Pub, the diner in The Bistro, the al fresco diner in Greece, the flower cart attendant, the flower cart customer, and today (trumpets please) a CSI cop in the shooting scene!!! The #2 Male Background Actors was seen, too, in the shootout scene being silently reprimanded by The Female while he was contorting his face in an attempt to look like a thug then he was immediately seen elsewhere that I can't quite recall right his minute. But trust me on this. Next scene, The Female was seen in a long, reddish-brown wig at the flower cart. These two are the hardest working actors in Hollywood. I can only imagine how insane their schedules are. I am determined to find out their names.

And I will.

I believe Stephanie's feet were not dirty , but very red . I have a friend that is fair skinned as she is and sometimes the heels and ball of her feet get very red as does the palms of her hands .
