GH SPOILERS DON'T LOOK! 🫣😲🙄

We’ve got a February sweeps preview, so let’s go over some of the show’s biggest shockers.

For starters, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will start off their Paris trip on a romantic note, but it won’t take long for disaster to strike.

Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) seems poised to get the vengeance she’s been ranting about since GH spoilers point to a major confrontation.

A threat will indeed ruin Trina and Spencer’s time away, so they’ll have to tackle plenty of drama.

The showdown that’s looming will include a couple of other surprise appearances as well, so Esme, Trina and Spencer won’t be alone when all the chaos plays out.

Spencer will be willing to put his life on the line to protect Trina from Esme’s wrath.

Back in Port Charles, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will have to decide if she can get past all the deception in her marriage and finally move forward with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).

As for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), they’ll have some new challenges to tackle since Drew’s desire for revenge on Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) hasn’t been satisfied yet.

Drew will want more payback, so his obsession could drive a wedge since Carly will want to focus on the future.

Of course, Sonny will also have to mull over whether his own future still includes Nina.

There’s no denying that Sonny still loves Nina deep down, but will that be enough to save their marriage?

Nina and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) may bring out the worst in each other as they become scheming partners, so that could rile Drew up even further and strengthen his desire to make Nina suffer.

Meanwhile, a former romantic duo will start to rekindle things, so that’ll likely be Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson).

Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) can already tell that Spinelli would like to reconnect with Maxie romantically, so he’ll put a matchmaking plot in motion with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) – one that could bring Cody and Sasha closer, too.

As Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) gets help from Brick (Stephen A. Smith) in her investigation, GH spoilers hint that an unexpected spark may form and lead to some sizzling.

A male character from the past will also make his Port Charles return, so that sounds like code for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) since his comeback is in the works.

At some point, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will reel when a face from her history lands on her doorstep needing help, so could Jason be that familiar face?

Again, GH is channeling Michael Corleone as Sonny has an attempt made on him at his house with family present.

Sonny makes a very similar comment, " They attack me in my own house with my family here." "My House My House! "

It's a shame Sonny wasn't as clear and concise as Avery was, delivering her lines today!

Pretty sure we'll hear Portia blame Spencer for everything that's happened. Imo, Esme needs to be in prison for everything she's done since arriving in PC. Better yet.......send her to prison, never to be seen again!!

STEVE BURTON ON GENERAL HOSPITAL RETURN DATE

Steve Burton, who is still airing on DAYS as Harris, revealed on the Daily Drama Podcast he hosts alongside Bradford Anderson (Spinelli, GENERAL HOSPITAL) that his return to GH as Jason is imminent. “I don’t have an exact start date but I start next week on the show,” he shared, enthusing, “I’m ready to get back to work.”

The actor’s Port Charles comeback was first announced at the end of GH’s prime-time special, which aired on January 4. Outside of confirming that fans could expect to see Burton back on-screen early this year, the show has been keeping the timeline, and storyline specifics, under wraps. Burton began his GH run in 1991, exited in 2000, and returned the following year, remaining with the show through 2012. After a stint on Y&R as Dylan (2013-17), he returned to GH again that year, but parted ways with the show in 2021 over its Covid vaccine policy. In 2022, for the first time since 1988, he reprised his first daytime character, DAYS’s Harris, on the Peacock streaming spinoff BEYOND SALEM: CHAPTER 2, and in 2023, he resumed playing Harris on DAYS. His final DAYS episodes will air this spring.

Evan Hofer (Dex), whose character has helped fill the void in the Corinthos organization left by Jason’s presumed death, can’t wait to have Burton back in the GH mix. “He’s such a great guy and so beloved over there,” Hofer says. “Everyone at work thinks so highly of him. I’ve gotten to meet him over Zoom and briefly in person, and I’m just really excited about getting to work with him because he’s a legend in the soap world and at GH specifically. I think it will bring some really cool story for all of us.”

Trina and Esme’s brawl in Paris was material GH’s Tabyana Ali (Trina) couldn’t wait to play, the actress reports. “You could just feel the tension in the air, feel the thickness of it, when Trina sees Esme in Paris. It’s like, ‘You know what? I gave you a chance the last time. This time, I’m doing something about it. This time, we’re gonna dance and it’s not gonna be pretty!’ I thought it was riveting.”

To pull off the physical confrontation, Ali shares, “We had a stunt coordinator, but luckily, Avery [Pohl, Esme] is basically like a stunt coordinator herself! She took some classes back when she was younger. I was so happy that I was doing this with her because she knew that world. really well. Our stunt coordinator guided us and showed us all the steps of what we should be doing and how we should position ourselves and how to make sure that we didn’t hurt ourselves or the other person. It was like learning choreography. And then Avery and I just practiced and practiced! It was so much fun, actually. I’m so glad I got to do that with her.”

For the riskiest component of the fight, “They had a stunt double for me,” she explains. “I was really sorry about that because I’ve been wanting to do my own stunts for a while now! But they were like, ‘No, we don’t want you to get hurt!’ I was like, ‘Man!’ But I did the majority of the stunts — there was only one part where they used the stunt double. Everything else was me and I was really happy about that.”

To clarify Jason's comeback, looking like next week, GH peeps.... Get your leather ready!

Not sure if this means he's shooting his first scenes next week (which I doubt since the announcement was almost a month ago) or if the character is appearing next week.

Either way, he's imminent.

So close and yet so far. On January 31, Steve Burton disclosed approximately how long General Hospital fans would have to wait for his first appearance as a back-from-the-dead Jason Morgan.

On the Daytime Drama Podcast that he hosts with sometime castmate and real-life buddy Bradford Anderson (Spinelli), the Emmy winner said that he was due on the set of the ABC soap “next week.”

I am So TIRED of watching the TRINA show.....every 3 weeks or so it is all about Trina again....I dont understand it....she isn't the best young actor on the show and yet

they just keep providing her with her own storylines!!

If she isn't yelling and mad at someone she is demanding something....or "in danger"...i would have run away from her long ago if i was Spencer....

Love Ava....she is the best character on that show i feel.....I like the one that is playing Brooklyn's mother and remember her from other soaps in past years.......

will be happy when Jason returns, all they can do with Nina these days is pair her up with Valentin...who i really started to enjoy in his newer kinder role....but i

have a feeling they may make him more criminal like...

Tracy and Gregory should hook up.
