Leah just had her and Dr. Murphy's baby boy!!! SO GOOOOD.

Since I never watched from the start of this show, I've been catching up and only on season 3 or 4 when Leah's pregnant with their first baby, a girl. Looks like I'm in for some major sadness.

I cry at almost every episode, it's such a well acted show.

What else happened besides the birth of the baby, wasnt there some bad health news for Dr Glassman ?

I remember it was not his cancer returning as was suspected, it was something more neurological, and I think he has to stop operating.

I think too Glassman is at odds with Shawn for reporting a mistake he made during surgery.

You are correct about that and and acted like he didn't want to know anything more about the new baby.

However, he appeared at the end with a gift and the scene was very special, as usual. So many different emotions.

Dr. Glassman was having mini-strokes caused by his treatment earlier for glioblastoma. This has left a "hole" in a part of his brain.

I really enjoyed this series but began to lose more and more interest when more focus started with Leah. I just cannot get into her character.

I may tune in. 🤔

The Good Doctor is ending with Season 7.

Dr. Shaun Murphy will see his last patients in 2024.

The forthcoming seventh season of The Good Doctor will be its final one, ABC announced Thursday. The medical drama, a co-production of Sony Pictures Television and ABC Signature, is slated to premiere Feb. 20.

“The Good Doctor has been a once in a lifetime opportunity, but it’s time to say goodbye,” co-showrunners David Shore and Liz Friedman and fellow executive producer Erin Gunn said in a statement. “We are incredibly proud of the work we’ve done and the message we’ve been privileged to be a part of.
