Magnum PI Finale

I loved the show and sad it has not been renewed.

I watched the series finale last night and was a little disappointed. It was almost like a "regular" show rather than a finale for a series. At the end when they were toasting Rick and Suzy's engagement at La Mariana it would had been nice if they had included a few more of the cast members. For example Shammy, Jin, Cade, etc.

If you watched the finale, what are your thoughts?

@BunSnoop. I agree with you. I wanted more. Perhaps it ended like this in hopes that the show will be picked up by another network. Hopefully it will be!!! There is far more story to be explored. Imo, this entire cast works very well together.

Yup, unanimous.....thought there would be more of a finale feel. I loved, and watched the show from the very first episode. The casting, the acting, and the storylines were all amazing. I'm sorry to see that it was not renewed. I definitely hope another network picks it up. Jay Hernandez is a very talented director as well as actor.

I agree with all the other posts. Have watched from the very beginning and am very sad it was not renewed. If what I read is true, when these last episodes were filmed they did not know the show was cancelled. Supposedly it was because of the writers strike. The producers felt the ending was good enough and that they did not need to bring the cast back to film another ending. I disagree. The other cast members should have been included. I also thought at the very end, Thomas would have surprised Juliet with a ring too.

@BunSnoop, I agree. The show felt like a season finale, not a series finale. But as was suggested, it would be nice if it continue on another channel, or platform, or even movie.

It ended with everyone in the main cast happy. Thomas and Juliet in love. TC expanding his booming business. Rick engaged. Kumu buying into La Mariana. Although, there wasn't a storybook ending involving Gordon, I feel the series finale was appropriate.

I was disappointed in the series finale. In fact when Juliet mentioned Bedrosian, i thought that they left the audience hanging or maybe hinting. It was a very strange way to cancel a show. Who knows maybe they will reconsider. I thought the cast was very good.

Oh no, I thought last night was "season finale". I have them recorded but was taking my time to watch so can't offer my review on the ending. Really disappointed the show has ended. I always thought it would end with a beautiful sunset Hawaiian beach wedding. Ahhh, life goes on...
