09/03/2023 Big Brother 25 Live Feed Spoilers and Updates!!!

A new day dawns in the BB 25 madhouse. Yesterday we saw Cameron win the POV (not a big surprise). America and Matt were right behind him. Jared, our HOH, was somewhere in the rear, not a surprise again as comps aren't his strong suit.

Jared threw a hissy fit before the comp with Cory when he saw that America had been picked by Red to play. He threatened Cory and vowed to put up America if she didn't play to win the POV. (She reportedly finished well ahead of Jared.) Cory left their meeting muttering under his breath that Jared was a (really bad word) moron. (He's not wrong about that.)

After the comp Jared had a DR session and came out ready to use America as the replacement nominee and the target this week. He claimed the DR kept saying "America, America, America" all the time and got him thinking (thinking is not a strength of Jared's) and he decided she had to go.

Jared is in a bit of trouble with the DR for using the "R" (mentally deficient) and "B" (female dog) words to describe America on occasion which may be why the DR was saying her name a lot. Also, America is the only house guest planning to target Cirie and production has built this season around Cirie and would prefer to keep her, so they may have been nudging Jared to give America the old heave-ho.

Cirie, Izzy, and Felicia thought they might be able to convince Cameron not to use the POV on himself and to use it on Red as a birthday present for Red. (Uh, sure. That'll work.) As expected, Cameron shot down that idea in a heartbeat. They then decide America should be the target. There was only one tiny little problem. America figured it out.

America then went and had a long, long, long chat with Jared and seemingly saved herself from the nomination block. The DR may have decided losing the "good" showmance this season was a bigger issue than losing Cirie and they decided they could manipulate the votes even if America put up Cirie to keep her. A coup de Cirie is likely in the works if things look bad for Cirie at any time.

At this moment it looks like either Jag or Bowie will be the replacement. Matt volunteered to go up as a pawn but that's looking less likely. The Cory/America showmance seems to have been saved this week. And probably for a while as the house is full of other targets. Cameron will remain a target until they finally flush him. Red is still high on the target list. Jared is moving up the target list for Cameron, Red, Cory, and America.

We have a show tonight! On tonight's show, we'll see the aftermath of Matt using his special power to save Jag. Well, for one week anyway, Jag could be gone this week with no special power to save him. They'll edit out the hours and hours of Jag nagging everyone trying to figure out why they all voted him out. (Which could be the reason they all vote him out this week if he's the replacement for Cameron.) We'll see the HOH comp where Jared ends up winning. (I'm betting it was thrown to him, but we'll see tonight.) And then we'll see Cameron and Red take their seats as the nominees for eviction.

Very disappointing if we are to assume that production is just going to be sure Cirie wins. She and her son just need to go.

Also very disappointing that Hisam was allowed to talk the way he did, Jared can use the R word as an insult and that is fine, yet the other guy uses what he said in converation and automatic eviction.

Matt is at a constant disadvantage because even when he hears it isn't what is actually said.

IMO horrilble season all the way around.

I think all foul language should be eliminated. There is no need for it. Some use the F word in every sentence.
Maybe because I have been watching the feeds a lot more than past years but it’s seems they cannot speak without lying.

You make valid points that I agree with.

The more I read @gardenman write ups about "production" the more disillusioned I become. They seem to have a lot of of influence over players which IMHO they should not have. I do question if this is the way it's always been why in 25 years no one has come forward!

The cast, for the most part is terrible and not fun to watch. IMO in an effort to be diverse they messed up, and the season is messed up.

I agree about the language. I also feel Big Brother should not have any preferences about who should win. Let the game be played and what falls will be the outcome. There should be no racial slurs at any time no matter who says it and please eliminate the love making. I do not need to see it on tv.

All reality shows are produced with the goal being to get the most viewers, and the highest ratings. If they have to "guide" the participants in certain directions, they'll do it. This season was obviously built around Cirie. They introduced her after the first nominees had been picked so she was safe right away. They put her son on the cast. They knew Izzy was a die-hard fan who adored Cirie. They knew Cory loved Cirie. This is the Cirie season of Big Brother. If you threaten Cirie, you upset the Gods of production.

Later in the season you might have more freedom to target Cirie, but with two months to go, production wants to keep her in place. They want to milk every viewer they can while she's there.

The only difference with Big Brother is that we can see/hear a lot of what happens with the live feeds. Shows like Survivor, The Amazing Race, and other shows can easily edit out production interference since they're taped months in advance and edited. Big Brother is less capable of being edited.

Part of the reason houseguests aren't allowed to talk about their diary room sessions is to help hide the "guidance." Jared said the DR kept saying "America, America, America," and that's when he decided she should go up. They clearly influenced him.

Reality shows exist to get the best ratings. They aren't made to be fair. If they have to guide the game in a certain direction, they'll do so. If they wanted things to be fair, they'd let the houseguests talk about their DR sessions. By and large, they don't. The houseguests blurt out some stuff that sneaks by from time to time, but they're not allowed to talk about their DR sessions. The reason why is to hide the guidance they're given. We've seen houseguests go into the DR locked into voting out one player, only to emerge with a different target.

I doubt anyone would disagree that ALL reality shows are edited, some completely scripted, some fake like House Hunters etc. Players on Survivor can be edited to be a hero or villain. You really don't think it isn't heavily edited, a weeks worth of footage into 1 1/2 hr show? But based on eliminations and the Tribal Council players make their own decisions.

I watch very few reality shows because of manipulations and was just referencing BB and production interference and it's just my opinion.

If BB is not your cup of tea, don't watch it. This platform is here for people who enjoy BB and enjoy discussing the game. I've watched since Season 1 and while there are many things I don't agree with on the show, I love Big Brother. Many people here seem to complain about how they run the show. My question is "why do you watch it?" No one is going to like each and every houseguest every season but to me I still enjoy the game as does Gardenman and a few others here. Some of our best posters have left because of complainers and it makes me sad. JMO

You can't know why posters left. Perhaps they no longer watch BB. Maybe they became disenchanted by the racism of the cookout group that was, not only permitted, but promoted.. I was.

Wsmon, Didn't mean to offend anyone and I accept your apology. Many of us just love Big Brother and though it's not perfect, we still look forward to it each season. Last year's season was very troublesome with how the winner, Taylor, was treated throughout the show and people had very harsh opinions about it. I think we lost a few posters because of it this year. Big Brother is not what it used to be but what can we do. I get mad over production controlling so much of it also. They need to rid of Allison Grodner, the producer and get some new blood in there.

Anyway didn't mean to go on and on about it. I just hate to see so many people complaining about a show I love and have watched for 23 yrs. Thanks again, Wsmon.
