James Bond Films

I enjoy the James Bond film. A good guy going after the bad guys. Exotic places and women. Tuxedos and fancy gowns. I believe he's been killed off in the last installation but I still enjoy believing that the good guys always win - in Bond movies that is.

I came to like Daniel Craig almost as much as Sean Connery.

Connery is great eye candy but Craig’s character was much more interesting.

It’s a reflection of the eras, I suppose: Absolute stereotypes of men and women in the Connery films. Don’t get me wrong, I love them, but Daniel Craig was a much more interesting character.

The older films are almost comic book to me, including the villains. That’s not a negative. They are just different and hard to compare with each other.

Just no comparison between Sean Connery and any of the others. The others never seemed like James Bond to me.
The original Bond movies are classics, stereotypes and all...some of the more recent ones with other actors were more refined cinematically, but gimme Sean any day!

I can't say I disliked Sean Connery .... he was okay. A little too chauvinistic, even taking into consideration it was a different era.

Personally, Pierce Brosnan was my favorite. More interesting to see a spy who could also be a gentleman. Masculine, but also elegant. Sigh.

I always thought Daniel Craig was a mistake ... and killing him off was a HUGE mistake from a production standpoint. Craig wanted to be killed off, and they didn't think it through.

It will take them years to recover from that plot twist. I read that Barbara Broccoli said the next James Bond actor will have to commit to at least 3 films and ten years of their career .... the hot actors aren't going to welcome that restriction.

Unless the James Bond we saw die isn't really dead, after all. Writers can conjure up a faked death in no time.

Daniel Craig has the lips plumped like his pouting. He's got his handsomeness. Not a bad Bond to me. No person will ever take Sean Connery's place.

I found an article I'd read a while back about the top contenders to be the next James Bond.

Twenty-four actors ... and many I was unfamiliar with.

The new generation of leading men. Different from the leading men of the past, that's for sure!

Tom Hardy is the best experienced actor. He did a segment of Star Trek . I didn't recognize him because he was made up. I said to self "who is that he's great".

So, I went thru the credits and it said Tom Hardy. I said

Oh, that's why he was such a good villian. He's been in a lot of movies and could really do Bond.

Women need not apply. Don't want any females in the lead. Rest of the Vogue herd was nerdy looking.

Superman guy would be good, but, has to have a

british accent. The guy that played "Loki" in all the Thor movies is good actor, but, to skinny.

Ildris, would be the best, but, he said he was too old

He doesn't need the money. LOL

I would have liked to see Jude Law a few years ago not so much now I feel he's too old at this point .

favorite bond movie is Goldfinger , that's where my nic comes from . Plus love my kitties 🐈‍⬛

Finding the new Bond will be harder to do than to explain him.

007 is a designation. No one ever said the number had to be retired.

James Bond is the alias that goes with the number

I think there is a stipulation somewhere along the line that says the Character of James Bond must continue to be male.

That being said ANYONE can be pegged as the nest Bond.

He says "I must be in heaven" ROFL

Sure couldn't make that movie or any of the Bond movies today ! Can U imagine !
