ANYONE WATCHING BEAT BOBBY FLAY?

If you're looking for a half hour jam packed show with fun personalities and interesting cooking competitions, this is it.

I used to watch the evening news when sitting down to dinner, but Beat Bobby Flay is more upbeat and less likely to give you indigestion.

Anyone watching this show?

I watch Beat Bobby Flay sometimes, @Tinkrbl44 .

I'm always interested in what the competing chef's "signature dish" is, and of course we always root for Bobby to lose, but he rarely does!

I think watching some of these food shows can be inspirational. I've gotten some good tips and techniques and also learned a bit about time management in the kitchen.

I have only watched it a couple times and when I've seen the previews, most everyone is saying "I beat Bobby Flay". Does just about everyone beat him? I've seen him on a few things. The shows I liked were when he had one with his daughter and the other one with Giada. He's o.k., but not my favorite.

Off topic, Bobby Flay's daughter, Sophie Flay is an on-sight news reporter for our local ABC7 news, I have seen her reporting many times, did not ring a bell who her dad is until a few months ago.

this guy has been on tv way too long IMO seems like the only shows are Flay and Alex....they need to give other amazing chefs their own show.....gets overdone and old to me.....so pass no thanks

I’ve become a fan of the show. I don’t think he takes himself too seriously and it’s fun to watch the guests all give him a hard time. Sometimes it’s shocking when he wins, but I think that has a lot to do with his competition experience and using flavors that, although may not be traditional in the relevant dish, pop.

I’d much rather watch him than another Fieri show. At least Flay actually competes (what’s the saying - those that can, do. Those that can’t, host and produce the shows for those than can).

I'm still surprised how much "promotion" can be crammed into a 30 minute show ... not only the two well-known friends that introduce the chefs, who get promotion for their restaurants. Then there's the three judges who do the blind taste tests. It's fun and informative.

Bobby had a show he did with his daughter, Sophie ... I guess she's a foodie, too. On one episode they made the rounds of interesting restaurants in los Angeles. I saved it since I live in the area.

I haven't watched many Food Network shows regularly. I tend to hop around, but this one is quick and fun to watch!

Yes, the one in Los Angeles with Sophie was good! The one with Giada was in Italy and it was good, too.

I have just started to watch the one with Alex G. which is a competition set in Tuscany. I love the scenery!

Do you ever watch The Kitchen? They all have so much fun! The one who gets on my nerves though is Sunny - she gets too loud!
