The Jacksons: Next Generation Lifetime docuseries

I just saw the commercial on Lifetime promoting this docuseries. It's going to focus on Tito Jackson's sons and nephews. The sons have a group called 3T, and they'll talk about career and family...how they're trying to preserve the Jackson legacy.

Will you watch? It premieres Friday, October 2.

Put me in the 'I might' column also. So many shows, so little time lately!

But I have a mild interest. Hopefully, these kids have a better father than their father did. (did that make sense?) Suffice to say that Joe was just not the best father ever.

3T is actually a good singing group. The name stems from each of Tito's kids having a name that begins with a "T."

They have a great sound.

Michael recorded some songs with them and mentored them early on.

Marlon Jackson isn't too bad of a guy. He's the only living brother that has been married to the same woman for years.

Jermaine just rides MJ's coat tails. I always felt he was jealous of MJ's success. I think Randy turned out to be the worst of them all. If you read the book "Remember the Time," written by MJ's former bodyguards (actually a good book) they talk about Randy always trying to milk MJ out of money and causing issues.

I'll watch because I'm a long time Michael fan and supporter. Nothing is the same since he's been gone. Music is not the same.

BTW this Saturday, August 29 would have been MJ's 57th birthday.

No, I don't watch any of those family reality shows. Maybe it's something you can only see from the outside looking in, but if I were a Jackson, I'd stay out of the spotlight. It hasn't really done any of them any favors.

Oh, please. I wouldn't watch if someome paid me to watch. I didn't care about Tito when the Jackson 5 was at the top of the charts, I didn't care about Tito when MK was the King of Pop. So, why would I care about Tito and his offspring now???? And there is no Jackson Legacy. Just Tito's kids trying to build a career.

I think it's nice Prince and Blanket feel comfortable appearing as cousins, and the family isn't pressuring them to make appearances.
