Anyone Watch Accused last night??

What did you think of it? It was not my favorite episode by far, but it was interesting. I just don't understand the family being so upset that they would result to violence.

But when you aren't in someone else's shoes it can be hard to udnerstand what they are going through....

I will say all of the episodes are interesting, and they all end differently, so it keeps the show interesting each week...

I like it, a lot. There's only been one episode I didn't think I'd be interested in enough to watch. It's definitely a different type show. I have recorded last night so I look forward to watching it.

I just watched it. This show is very different and well done - it always leaves you thinking. And even though they stretch the situation to the limits it is always in some way based on the real world.

I watched it last night and, like you, I enjoy this show. Perhaps it's because each show is entirely different from the next. With last night's episode, I can see how some people, who are wrongfully ostracized and constantly under verbal attack by cruel and heartless others, are driven to such a point. What comes to mind are children or teens or anyone, quite frankly, that are bullied and wind up taking their own lives.

I enjoyed the first two shows....but as time went on...got too political...which is like everything else these days.....

nothing these days seems for enjoyment or entertainment, or just escape anymore..........I see enough on the news these days....don't need more preached at me at night....................I really love Margo Martindale also...excellent actress.

I thought the episode had elements of the real-life Sandy Hook mass shooting with the fake shooting accusations made by Alex Jones. Other than that the show rang out against gun possession. It would not have been much of a story had it not been for the purchase of the handgun by the father. To me that was the gist of the entire episode.

After losing a child in a mass shooting and then having their lives totally destroyed by hateful, nonsensical lies YOU don't understand how someone could be driven to commit an act of violence? Really? The family wasn't driven to violence, it was just one member. The one who was affected the most.

I was outraged by that mother's behavior. She ignored the son who was still alive, refused to listen to her husband's concerns, and put her family in danger. The entire outcome was her fault. She ruined her marriage and destroyed her son's life.

How do you suppose the son got the combination? Now that makes me wonder about the father. Did he give it to his son? Sort of a sinister plot to off the conspirator and get rid of the wifey...hmmmm.

@chrystaltree Like I said, unless yhou are in someone else's shoes, you can't fully understand. I feel like she should have concentrated more on the son and husband that was left. I understand getting upset and frustrated by the other group, but not to the point of violence! I stand by what I said-it is MY opinion!!!!!! And now not only does her husband and remaining son are left with no wife or mother, the remaining son also has to deal with killing somone and his mother taking the blame....

It looked to me that when his son came into the room, the father hurriedly put the gun on the top shelf of the closet without taking time to relocate the case.

If not for the mother putting her family under threat, the father would not have bought the gun.

No....i didn't see her in that show.....but loved her in Justified first and enjoyed her ever since......

I like watching , also . What I find interesting is the way each show ends . There's no , " wrap up " , it just ends .
A new story each week is something I like , also.

I really like this show and just watched this week's episode. I think the acting is really good each week and I like that it's a different story. I will say that Margo Martindale is one of the best female actors for playing an awful, hateful character. She's so good at it. She also can play a likeable character very well too.

While I think the mom made some mistakes, I was outraged by the female Alex Jones character's behaviour a lot more than the mother's. The mom's biggest mistake was trying to reason with the crazies. There is no reasoning with people like that, the truth means nothing to them.

What is so sad is thinking of all the Sandy Hook parents that had to listen to that same kind of craziness for years. I can't imagine how painful it was for them to lose their young children and then be harassed by nutjobs that think it was all fake.

I watched last night 3-20-23. Was that John Ritter's son.?I couldn't read the credits. He sure looked like the late John Ritter.
