The “New” Love Boat Commercial

Have you seen this commercial for Princess cruises? They have redone the song, and show beautiful pictures of the ship, people, and places. I love that theme song!

Every time I see it I think about how much I enjoyed the show. I'm sure it's on some channel, but I haven't seen it.

About 15 years ago I discovered Jill Whelan, who played Vicky, and I had a mutual friend! When our friend introduced us I was so tempted to ask her questions about the show! But I behaved myself and we just talked about kids and other things. I saw her a few times before she moved. She gave me a hug when she left!

@beach-mom I love The Love Boat and like many shows of the day being busy with career and family had many TV shows on the back burner. It's fun to watch them today. ME-TV was playing the show but no longer, it's on Pluto TV which isn't that great. Too many commercials & bad video quality, wish there was a better way to watch.

All these "new" remakes of old shows are really terrible....

i have yet to see one remake that even comes close to

the quality of the old show.....
