WHERE THE CRAWDADS SING

Anyone watching this on Netflix? I really liked this movie. Curious to know if anyone liked it as much as I did. With all the Superhero movies out, this was a pleasant change.

The movie was good but the book is better! I actually filled my husband in on the "missing parts" of the movie. I think it's worth the read even if you've seen the movie.

I watched this last week! I really liked it alot & was surprised as I tried to read the book & gave up on it. I would recommend this movie if you've read the book or not!

@Angelmanmom, I read some comments online about the book and missing parts so I think I am going to get it.

I read the book and loved it. My Netflix DVD should be here tomorrow and I look forward to watching it.

This book has been going around my family. My mom said it's the best book she's ever read and my dad also really liked it. He watched the movie, she hasn't watched it yet.

I happened to watch it with DH a few nights ago and we both really enjoyed it. It's an interesting story with an unexpected twist.

I really liked the main character as both a little girl and adult.

Really enjoyed this movie but I kinda knew that I would. I read the book first and as usual, the book is always better.

I watched the movie and it is great, I will probably watch it again, and now I also want to read the book. I was going to read the book first but I was so interested in the story that I could not wait. This movie kept my interest the entire time, to me there was not a single boring moment in the movie.

I don't think that's true in this case. The movie is very good. I thought the book was very good too. I also read it ages ago (before the pandemic) and to me the biggest difference was the book like most books was able to go into more detail than a movie ever could.

However I felt that the writing, acting, characters and scenery were all very well done in this movie.

I identify with the poster who said she started reading the book and gave up on it. I almost did the same but stuck with it and it turned out to be one of my favorite books. The movie was so enjoyable and, as a huge Taylor Swift fan, my favorite part was the closing song "Carolina." It's so beautiful and haunting. Perfect for the movie!
