Empress on Netflix

This is a 6 part (I believe) series on Netflix. I just started watching it last night. Anyone see this? I have only seen 2 episodes so far and I am really enjoying it. It's based on a true story about Empress Elizabeth of Hapsburg.

This sounds like something I would enjoy. Thanks for sharing. I will check it out. I don't usually find anything on Netflix these days. They show a lot of true crime which isn't my thing.

@AngelPuppy1, What a wonderful series! While my DH was watching a football game on another TV, I started watching this series. Romance, intrigue, lovely sets and costumes, all in a historical setting. My type of show.

The wedding gown...oh my.

Upon the recommendation of someone at work, I watched the first episode last night. Thought it was very good. The costumes and cinematography gorgeous. So far, I think it's very well done.

I am a couple of episodes in. I like it. What i don't like is that the english voices are dubbed in so the lips don't match the voices. This messes with my brain.

Bumping this thread instead of starting a new one. Season 2 was wonderful! Has anyone else watched S2?
