General Hospital ~ October 2022 ~ Spoilers Included

It has been one year since QVC announced they would be closing down their forums. Here are a few other things that happened last October.

Sonny continued to reconnect with family and friends when he returned to Port Charles after a nine-month absence. Sonny kept the information that Nina had been aware he was alive for months and didn't inform his wife or any of his children.

Spencer finally confessed he was Ava's stalker and his accomplice was his girlfriend Esme.

It was discovered that both Drew and Victor were still alive. Victor revealed to Valentin he had an affair with Helena resulting in Valentin's birth.

Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt began to suspect that Leo, Olivia's son, might be on the Austism spectrum.

Since the beginning of the September thread:

Curtis and Jordan discovered they were still married since their divorce papers were never filed.

A serial attacker who uses a hook has invaded Port Charles.

Ava, the first victim's injuries - though serious - were not fatal;
The second victim, Brando, succumbed to his injuries. After he died medical tests showed he had been poisoned.
The third victim, Diane, is currently in surgery.

I'll miss Brando not on the show anymore, too bad they wrote him off. I do hope the attny Diane makes it, so many depend on her. I do not at all think it Dex hooking people although he working with Michael on something against Sonny. Don't get what that's all about. I will say I am tired of the business with Elizabeth, this storyline is getting really old. Let's get her back to being 'normal' and get her kids, family back together and toss Finn finally in her mix too. It's odd to see Anna and what's his name, they used to be arch enemies even though they've known each forever. Dante and Samantha make a good looking couple. Where's Laura the mayor? She hasn't been on for some time now. And oh my goodness, prison dosen't seem to be agreeing with the pretty boy Spencer. He was looking quite disheveled yesterday. Wonder how long he'll really end up being there before Victor steps in AGAIN to save his nephew. I still absolutely can not stand the girl who apparently is on for good to play Trina. What a bad substitute. Gee, what else can I complain about or who - LOL

Esme Returns to GENERAL HOSPITAL!

Enough people have survived falls from the parapet at Wyndemere that as soon as Esme took a tumble during her fight with Ava fans knew it was only a matter of time before she resurfaced! And sure enough, portrayer Avery Kristen Pohl is returning to GENERAL HOSPITAL the week of Oct. 3!

I just went over all the storylines with my husband.Those that we could remember. We realized we didn't care for any of them. 😆 He said, "Why the hell are we still watching then?"

After yesterday's episode I might say the Spencer in jail storyline sparked a little interest. He seemed a bit sheepish. I wonder if he will be violated or already has been? ( I heard they did this with Mikey too but I wasn't watching at that time) They're pretty good at recycling story lines anyway, so who knows.
I hate to admit it ( because he's in the can) but he looked very good with his hair a bit tousled and longer in length.

I guess I also want to see how Ava reacts when Esme comes back knocked up. (my assumption)

I try not to read the spoilers, but sometimes while scrolling I see a little sumthin' sumthin' like MORGAN. LOL

That sparked my interest and now I see why Mikey, Scummy and Joss may all be involved in the Dex story.
Has Carly met Dex yet? I can't remember...because if she had or will; I'm sure she'd realize that possible spoiler.

I didn't watch Friday's episode until this morning. What a lovely image I was treated to: Chase in his boxers. Almost a good a Chase in his bath towel. That boy is hot. But then I had to unsee Valentine in a love scene with Anna. Ewww. The thing I noticed about Spencer besides his disheveled look was that the place he was working in looked like the minimum security place he used to be in. That room looked like the room where all the visitors met with inmates. I thought he was now in Pentonville.

GH spoilers for Monday reveal serious suspicions, surprise help, and so much more.

GH Spoilers Highlights

The last we saw of Dex Heller, he was still living as if he was AJ Quartermaine tied to a meat hook (really, GH, a hook?) in the back of Sonny Corinthos’s restaurant. Sonny wasn’t sure if he should torture him anymore until he could figure a few things out.

Well, Dante Falconeri, the son who planted the idea in Sonny’s head that Dex might be The Hook, is searching for Dex and asks his dad where the man is because he has news. It seems Dante doesn’t think that Dex is The Hook after all. Dante should only know what he wrought.

Over at Charlie’s, Josslyn Jacks and Trina Robinson discuss Dex and Trina really wants to know why Joss is so obsessed with this guy. Isn’t it obvious, Trina?

Will Diane Have Answers?

Hamilton Finn has some good news for Alexis Davis — Diane Miller made it through her week-long surgery and should make a full recovery. Will Diane remember everything about her attacker?

If Diane does have some answers for the police, will they match Brando Corbin’s description of the clanking jewelry? Perhaps that will give Sasha some peace as she stops by to see Maxie Jones because she wasn’t sure where else to go.

Spencer Is Rescued

Spencer Cassadine’s life in Pentonville hasn’t been an easy one, and that is made perfectly clear when someone beats him up for apparently no reason. At least a surprise person comes to his rescue, and Spencer asks what he has to do to repay the person. Could it be Cyrus Renault, his great uncle via Grandmother Mayor Laura Collins? As far as we know, he is still in Pentonville.

GH Spoilers: Elizabeth's Buried Trauma, Her Father's Affair Reveals She's Responsible for Reiko's Death

Elizabeth Webber lost her husband Franco Baldwin when Peter August's reign of terror gusted through Port Charles.

Recaps recall Elizabeth’s recent struggles being comforted and supported by Hamilton Finn as he tried to help her work through her mysterious symptoms and random memories. He and Liz bonded over the incident with Peter; as Liz didn’t hesitate to help when Finn pushed him down the stairs.

As they say, no good deed goes unpunished, and after Elizabeth helped Finn cover up what happened, the act then triggered strange flashbacks of suppressed trauma for Liz. Spoilers reveal Elizabeth’s flashbacks begin to tell a story she has buried deep into her subconscious avoiding coming to terms with having killed someone many years ago.

Rumors suggest that Elizabeth’s father, Jeff Webber was having an affair with a much younger woman, and Elizabeth wasn’t having any of it. After Finn recognized his late wife, Reiko in Elizabeth’s image, suspicions of Jeff and Reiko’s past affair has opened the door for even more buried secrets.

Rumors hint that the reason Elizabeth has blocked out her memories and is avoiding her father at all costs because she is actually responsible for the death of her father’s mistress, who now happens to also be Finn’s late wife, Reiko.

Young Elizabeth wanted nothing to do with the woman to whom her father was giving all his attention. She clearly wanted Reiko far away from Jeff, yelling for her to stay away from her father. It’s likely that when Liz encountered Finn at the top of the stairs as Peter’s lifeless body lied at the bottom, memories of her troubled past came to the surface.

Recaps recall Finn’s heartbreaking story of how Reiko died from Blackwood’s syndrome has carried with him all these years. What if that was just a story Finn drummed up in order to protect a young woman from paying the price for killing Reiko, a woman who was cheating on him with Liz’s father.

Did Elizabeth push Reiko down the stairs as she lashed out over her father’s affair? Could Elizabeth be the one to have killed Finn’s precious ex wife who obviously wasn’t so precious to have had an affair with Jeff? Has Finn been protecting Elizabeth this whole time?! So many what ifs!
