And it's goodbye Brittany day! Taylor has pointed out a few times that Brittany would be easier for them to beat than Turner, but Monte doesn't seem to be taking the bait. Brittany has a long, detailed speech ready for tonight that could get pre-empted if Monte uses the POV on Turner. (Please, yes. Do that and save us all the agony of listening to Brittany.) If he uses the POV on Turner, Brittany is out by default. No voting is necessary. No speech is necessary. It's just, "Grab your bag and go meet Julie."

It's going to feel like a long show tonight as they bring back all six of The Cookout. All six will have to be asked questions about the game and the final three (maybe four, depending on if they have them on before or after Brittany gets tossed out.) CBS will be careful to spread out the questions evenly so none of the Cookout is favored over another. Who can't wait to hear Azah's and Derek F's brilliant insights into the game?

And according to Hamsterwatch, who's typically accurate, one of the final three HOH comps will be Cookout featured and called the Food Fest (or something similar) with hot dogs, mustard, and ketchup featured prominently. You could almost say production is all but begging Monte to take Taylor and Taylor to take Monte given the way things look like they'll play out. They seem to want a Cookout 2.0 at this stage of the game. Are they afraid Turner would beat Monte or Taylor and more cries of racism would ensue? (Survivor is already getting some of that on social media since the first person voted out was black.) If production knows the jury favors Turner, they may be plotting Turner's demise.

Would the jury favor Turner? Eh, maybe? He could have Indy, Kyle, Terrance, and Alyssa on his side. (Not Jasmine.) Michael? If the final two are Turner and Monte, he could also get Brittany and Taylor. (Who might be the most bitter of jurors if Monte doesn't take her.) Production knows how the jury is leaning at this point and given the emphasis on the Cookout, they may want another all-black final two to dampen any charges of racism in the outcome. I think they'd love Taylor to win so they can finally put an end to the "no black woman has ever won BB" narrative. We'd all like that narrative, and every narrative to end, and to have people just play the game again.

Not the best show of the season tonight. If you loved the Cookout and can't wait to see them again, then you'll love the show. I didn't and don't, so yeah. I'll watch it but it won't be my favorite show of the season. Nothing is going on in the house other than the showmance and lots of card playing. There won't be any new and exciting footage of events or things that have transpired. Expect a long recap at the start to eat time. We may see more of the jury house as nothing is going on in the real house. The eviction of Brittany is all but done already. There's just one vote and it's Monte's and he doesn't even have to vote if he uses the POV on Turner. This could be a five-minute show tonight instead of an hour-long show. That's about how much real content there will be for tonight.

The stage is set up and ready for tomorrow night's filming of the jury roundtable where the jury will be joined by Brittany. They'll then discuss which of the final three should win. (We'll see that on Sunday's finale.) Brittany will leave the house tonight and go to the hotel and then have her press tomorrow morning and afternoon, then join the jury tomorrow night for the roundtable. The first part of the three-part HOH comp will start tonight. (Probably after the show.) Then part two will take place tomorrow or Saturday and then the finale on Sunday night. The end is near! Just a few more days and BB 24 will be a memory.

Yeah, I won't be replaying this season, that's for sure. Not the best by a long shot.

I will tape this episode so I can fast forward throught the Cookout group. Why bring them back? Last year was their year so let it go. I am tired of this being an black/white or male/female issue. I always thought the winner was the best player or voted as such. Now production is thinking the same thing already for Survivor? If this continues, I just won't be watching anymore

If there is a way to screw up a season worst than they did last year, this would be it ... I loved when we had real players that could remember back to season whatever it was and referenced former players by name and when there was no thought to vote in or out because of color. BB, like other shows following it have no one to fault for this failure of a season but themselves ... not to mention screwing up the season AGAIN with the new football and season premieres ... worst of all the BB24 show finale !! I so looked forward to this show it is very very disappointing to see it end this way ...

I long for the days when players voted how they wanted and kept the vote to themself. Sick of the "voting with the house" concept.

Thank you, @gardenman, you've made my decision for television viewing tonight an easy one. I have a football game to watch!

Trying to decide if I should:

A.) Tape BB and watch later

B.) Check in during commercials

C.) Forget about it all together

I'm going with plan C.

I'm concerned shows like BB can not survive. Race and production interference are playing the major role in decisions. I feel manipulated this year by production so O'm not watching tonight or the finale.

I watched the Challenge for the fist time this year and it was won by a black man and a white woman.

They didn't even give Monte the option to use the POV. Interesting. Historically they've let the POV holder use it. Brittany is a goner of course.

@mspatmac, I think production has been manipulating the show for years. It's a shame they don't show the questions asked in the Diary Room.

Remember the days when your only wardrobe was what you packed in a bag and brought in when you entered the house? When veto competitions were for rewards for things like clothes? Where houseguest continued to wear the overalls and T-shirts from competitions just for a change of clothing? When Evil D!ck ran out of cigarettes? When Have Nots only had slop to eat and not peanut butter, or pickles, or olives to supplement the diet?

Yes I keep hoping b.b. would return to the good old days,where's chicken george?,live chickens?, remember the pack of pekinese dogs running through the yard. so I will tape it.but probably won't watch it,since when do they show the players from the previous year ?not interested in them at all.Survivor lost me two years ago, they were complaining how the black players were getting kicked of befor white players.And I can't tolerate jeff anymore,.
