Synopsis: "The prequel chronicles the teen years of Kanan Stark (Mekai Curtis), the future drug dealer played by 50 Cent on the original Power. Back in 1991, Kanan was just a corner boy growing up in Jamaica, Queens, whose mom Raquel Thomas (Madam Secretary‘s Patina Miller) is a cocaine distributor with underworld connections that span the Big Apple."

This last episode was kind of sad...I feel for Jukebox.

I am glad Symphony and Rox are back together.....she gave him another chance, he kinda pulls out her soft side but he has to dig real deep.

Regarding the original Power series......I could be wrong but I thought it was mentioned by either Ghost or Kanan that he (Kanan) was raised by his "grandmother." In this current series Kanan is 15 yrs old.

I don't know if it was mentioned in the original Power series or if I read that he was raised by his grandmother after his mother died when he was very young.

My hubby thinks the same about Symphony.........

@Luvitorleaveit1 yes it was sad. I knew as soon as I saw Nicole pocket that vial her days were numbered. What was Raq thinking? Did she really believe that after she showed Kanan how to cook he wouldn't do it again. Nicole's mother is not going to let her death drop. She is going to tie all of that to Jukebox and make sure she pays for it.
